“Went to brunch on a Sat. Service and food were delicious! Wish I could remember the waiters name as he did not rush us at all and continued to fill coffee & tea even after plates were cleared.”

“I went to Bingo here for the first time about a month ago and found the staff to be very friendly. The environment is helpful and comfortable. Numbers are not called too fast which is good for newbies ?”

“The pork cut had been brined and was absolutely tender and full of flavor. The crab cake appetizer was delicious. Nice selection of wines by the glass. We ate in the tavern, but the noise level was a bit high. Nice fire burned in the fire place. Our waiter had a nice sense of humor!”

“This is a FRAN-tastic B & B! Fran is a real gem: a versatile cook, a thoughtful person, a hard-working entrepreneur, a kind-hearted soul, an excellent storyteller, and an adventurous spirit. Her wealth of knowledge about the Wareham area as a long-term resident is beyond compare. Her hospitality radiates throughout this welcoming abode, meticulously decorated with comfortable furniture, beautiful plants, and charming figurines. Her quiet and well-behaved cat, Twinkle, adds a homey touch. If you let her know about your interests she will try to dig up some information on the topic(s) before you arrive. The long deck in the back with the covered swing is a comfortable place to hang out and read a book. We have met some amazing people here! Mulberry Bed & Breakfast is only a ten-minute walk to Wareham Village and a fifteen-minute drive (or bus ride) to Onset which has a lovely beach and a tree-shaded bluff on which to chill out and enjoy the view. My husband and I had a great time and we recommend this place to everyone.Rooms: The rooms are beautiful. I loved the old-fashioned furniture and found the rooms to be clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated.Walkability: It takes ten minutes to walk to Wareham Village center where there's a CVS, the Blue Foot Cafe, and some decent restaurants.Food & drinks: We really enjoyed the smoothies and Acai bowls at the Blue Foot Cafe. We had an exceptional meal at the Scarlet Bistro.”

“Took my fiancé for a night as a birthday treat and couldn’t escape the feeling that the property is a three-star hotel in a four-star wrapper. With a few exceptions, the staff seemed like they were running on autopilot. The room was vastly overpriced for the product delivered; this was a value problem, not a budget issue: we typically stay in very nice hotels, and the room rate far exceeded the level of quality and service delivered. At $663 for a night, including taxes and a ridiculous $34 resort fee, Mirbeau ended up being more expensive than superior properties in Boston - including the Ritz Carlton - for the same night. For that we got:- No drinking glasses in the bathroom; there also didn’t appear to be a heat source in the bathroom, so it was constantly chilly- Just one charger port in the room (that we could find, anyway)- Dirty wine glasses- Hair on the shower walls- Bare and loose fixtures, including the toilet paper holder, which is so obvious a defect that staff had to deliberately ignore it to refill the roll- Thin, institutional-grade paper products that were more at home in my first post-college apartment than in a four-star hotel- Cobwebs on easily-reachable lights and fixtures- Dining: as my fiancé put it, the bread was the highlight of a $200+ meal. I ordered a steak for $65 that was overcooked; I sent it back, then the second attempt was underdone...and served without utensils. They did comp the price of the steak, which I appreciated. The restaurant appeared understaffed and the server seemed rushed and unhappy to be there. My fiancé had the bouillabaisse, which was more of a soup with things in it and was very lean on ingredients.I spent nearly 20 years in hospitality operations, and it seems to me that Mirbeau tries too hard where it doesn’t count, and not hard enough where it does.”

“Extremely friendly and courteous staff. The breakfast buffet was stocked and food was good. Disappointed pool was not available but overall the stay was pleasant.”
