“Great neighborhood market. Happened to be walking distance from themiddle school where we had a basketball tournament. Walked there a couple of times that day. Fresh and delicious sandwiches and other deli items. If we lived in the OB, I’m sure it would be a regular stop.”

“I have been to this place many many years ago like a decade, and i don't remember back then, but this time I was please to get their muffins; especially cranberry ones. It was soft and moist, well balanced. ( i never tried other flavors) and it seems NOT using palm oil !! . my husband had to try the rhubarb and strawberry pie because his favorite, the crust could be improved, but filling was good(he told me) reasonable price for the baked goods. it is convenience and island prices for sure. every visit I made this time , one of the girl at cashier at the back was grumpy, not pleasant!”

“If you haven't tasted these yumlish Pistachio Muffins, you haven't lived. I discovered this gem, Jack In the Beanstalk, in Cape Cod, MA. It has a sandwich bar, soups, salads, baked goods, fruits, veggies, etc. The staff were so kind and accommodating. I literally went each day for those yummy green delights, and they never disappointed. Please stop by and show them some love.”

“The produce is gorgeous! Not a blemish on anything. Wide variety of vegetables, especially mushrooms. Lots of healthy choices of foods organic and good choices in packaging for the planet. They have a system on there website, you can enter your grocery list and you get a list of where each food is located in the store what aisle. Haven't used it yet, will try this coming week. Prices are higher than stop & shop, but their quality and variety of healthier foods is better . Bottom line: if processed foods with lots of added salt,cheap poor quality oils, food colorings, etc. is your thing, go to stop & shop otherwise Cronigs is definitely the place for you to shop.”

“For over 20 years I have counted on Cash & Carry in so many ways. Great customer service and quality products - one of the best shopping experiences on the Island. One-stop shopping for any type of event - I've bought the food, servingware and softdrinks there for everything from benefit parties, to Open Houses for my real estate clients, to parties at home. We custom order meats and delicious soups, there are always new tools and specialty items to use for cooking, and Jon and his staff are always innovating with what they offer.”

“This market will surprise you with all it has to offer. It offers everything the big stores do. The store is clean and has a very inviting atmosphere. Best of all, the prices are competitive to those big stores.”

“Being health conscious I rarely have fried chicken and when I do I try to have a small amount of the crispy exterior. Their batter and sweet tea brined chicken potstickers is phenomenal. I had to eat every morsel.Their southern style green beans with house smoked bacon are also delicious and could be a meal by itself”

“Get the hard dough bread... Do not leave without getting some spicy rolls or bread!... Be certain to get an empanada.... Do not cheat yourself make sure you get some Jamaican gingerbread cookies. This place is a local secret! It also happens to be the only Western Union on the island... It is set back off the road just to the left of the gas station it has its own little parking spot. Go for the empanadas stay for the smiles!”

“I don't know why I don't go here more. I have been a full-time island wash-ashore years now and though I do live in Edgartown I drive out this way often. I think it is so cute and little I miss it. With that said, I simply adore it. First a foremost, for those of us who still love bread, they have scrumptious fresh bread! They have fresh pastries, farm grown veggies, and such a fun selection of cheese and perishables. Definitely worth a trip, even if you are on the other side of the island.”

“The personnel at the deli were professional and courteous.We stopped twice yo order a personalized cake, no one in the bakery at 5 pm on a Sunday or 4:30 pm on a Tuesday.We decided to buy a cheesecake and personalize it ourselves. They had a fantastic array of items to select from in the baking aisle.The store has a wide selection and was very clean .”

“This store has a lot more product since they took on Instacart. For a smaller store it’s well stocked. They have new refrigeration which is great. I go there a lot more often now.”

“This isn't just a convenience store or souvenir shop, but a full "general store" as the name implies. I stopped by with a friend on a recent day trip around the island and found not only drinks, snacks, and other conveniences, but also a well-stocked toy section (!), plenty of groceries, and even plenty of copies of the weekend Financial Times (!). Perhaps it isn't what it was long ago to locals - which is perhaps why the average Yelp rating is so low - but, personally, I found it to be a well-stocked store relative to local population and demand. It should be not only a solid stop for tourists, but also a welcome resource for locals. I'm glad we made time to visit and check it out.”

“Doesn't take wic. Doesn't have the grocery store so not a super Walmart. But it has the other stuff I need. I wish they had more kids clothes n shoes. At times it's busy and harder to check out here but they have most of the regular stuff I need! Good clearance aile”

“The people make the place and over the last year or so I'd say the people here have been helpful and kind overall. Barring the odd exception of the j*** having a bad day. Vineyard pricing is and will always be difficult even here but overall a good place for the basics and essentials, if you can hit while its not busy.”

“Had a great trip to Falmouth this week..Waze took me on ways that I never knew were ways before..I hope she knew something that I didn't know about why we didn't take the more expeditious route..She took me down twisty, curvy, turnsy narrow residential streets, roads, lanes, drives, pathways, etc with lots of tight right turns and switchback lefts for a long time before I finally got to where at I was going t go..I usually have very good situational awareness but I lost my orientation early on and didn't have time to stop and check trees for moss growing on the north side..Was very thankful that when I finally got there, I was very close to where I wanted to be..Had a great lunch at Casa Vallarta Mexican Restaurant..Great waitress Ana did an excellent job and provided excellent service and made the whole experience very pleasurable..She is a great booster for the restaurant..Thanks, Ana..The food was well prepared, well presented, very generous servings, and very reasonably priced..The bean dip that came with the nachos was to die for..That could have been my lunch..I hope it was nutritious because it was delicious..Thanks, Chef..I look very much forward to going back to Casa Vallarta Mexican Restaurant again, the next time I'm allowed to go that far away from home..After lunch, I went to Walmart..Another great experience..The greeter engaged me in conversation while I set up the electric shopping cart..Very nice lady..Thank you for your kindness..Walmart is a massive store, of course, but it is well laid out and with plenty of room to navigate up and down the aisles..I was very happy that I was able to find everything I was looking for at good Walmart prices..On the way out, there was another greater saying goodbye..Does shopping get any better than that?.Talked to the store manager briefly..She is a wonderful ambassador for Walmart..She is relatively new to the company but comes with 30 years of experience in retail..Walmart is very lucky to have her on its team..The drive home was more expeditious even though it took me by the two flash points at both bridges over the Canal..Thank you, Waze..Very happy when I was home safely..What a wonderful trip, what a wonderful day; how wonderful it is to be alive..”
