I used to visit the store frequently when one of my daughters played ice hockey. She doesn’t play anymore. But since I have been visiting the store for softball gear for my other daughter, I have been super impressed!! Gary M has been soooo helpful on the softball side, it is unbelievable. He has taken the time to talk to us about the correct bat for my daughter’s style of hitting and she has been super happy with the recommendation. Gary helped us to find the perfect fielders glove and the care and finesse he took with re-lacing and breaking it in for her, I would have thought it was his own glove. He treats every customer the way they should be treated. Does he own the store? As long as Gary is at the store, we will continue to come back!!

We came for goalie gear for our 14 year old.Staff made sure to provide the correct fit.We recommend this store. Plenty of knowledgeable staff.

0 stars this place is awful. Hockey...baseball.lax...I wouldn't buy a water here folks this place is shady as heck! Bought some stuff online and couldn't return in the next day with a receipt. Go else where there's a reason there's only 1 store in Massachusetts. Joke.

When I spend my hard earned money I want to have great service. Now typically I don’t expect this at retail store as employees are most of the time not selling their own products so the passion is not really there. The complete opposite is here. This means even more to me as the money being spent is all donated to help the youth of Brockton. Thanks to Joe, Debbie and Max, I won’t shop anywhere else for my lacrosse needs. They take such pride and ownership into their customer service that it is as though that are family and they built the building themself, brick by brick. Pride in their work is an understatement. There is no question or need they can’t help with. A true family feel, this store is a hidden gem!

5 stars for Sports Monkey of Norwood negative STARS FOR Derry NH. I bought a Bauer Hyperlyte 2 Black Series. 15 days later it broke. I called the Norwood location and asked if I can get my stick warrantied by a different Sports Monkey as I live in Maine and bought the stick from Norwood because my son had a game down that way. They said it shouldn’t be a problem as Derry NH is closer but to reach out to them and make sure they are ok with it and if they have the stick in stock. I called spoke to Gabby and she said it would be fine and they had a replacement in stock. When my son went into the Derry location the store employee started the process while my son went to grab the replacement off the shelf, he was informed that they would not replace the stick. The store manager and few other employees told my son that he had a custom or Pro Stock stick, and that Bauer does not make a black series. So, after berating my son about how they are not going to replace the stick they called the Norwood because they looked at the receipt and could clearly see it said it was a plain Black Series Hyperlyte 2. The store manager of Norwood told them it’s a regular stick not a custom or pro stock and to please replace the stick. My son called me and said that Derry will not replace the stick even after Norwood said it was OK. I called and spoke to Nick at Monkey Sports in Norwood he was appalled that we were told no, Nick went out onto the floor and grabbed a stick and held it in the office for us to replace a week later. When we went to the Norwood stock for our replacement everyone was overly helpful and apologized over and over. My son then proceeded to tell Nick how the Derry location was bad mouthing Nick his crew and his store. I will not ever go back to Monkey Sports in Derry NH again. I drive by many other hockey stores but if my travels are going to be bringing me near Norwood I will make it a point to go and patronize the Money Sports of Norwood

This store is by far the best! Debbie the lady at the front desk goes above and beyond to assist you and makes sure you are getting the best service. Such a personable human. I have been there many times the past two months and have gotten the same best customer experience. Thumbs up to the Norwood store! All the young men that work along with Debbie are friendly and very helpful finding what are you looking for. I sincerely appreciate all your help!Gentiana

This was truthfully one of the greatest in-store experiences I’ve ever had. If you ever need anything related to hockey goalie equipment please go see Ryan. He was so helpful, unbelievably kind, and genuinely cares about you as a customer. As a beginner goalie, he answered all of my questions, sized me perfectly, and took his time to make sure I was happy. I receive amazing customer service and had the biggest smile on my face because Ryan got me so excited about becoming a goalie. Would recommend going to the store just to see him.

Wow, what a service. Ryan has saved our goalie pads yet again!!! What a customer service and expertise. I couldn’t highlight and praise him enough. this is the place to go especially if you need hockey stuff, especially goalie. Thanks again.

My boyfriend and I went in looking for skates (we’re complete amateurs, just looking to ice skate really) and Ryan was absolutely incredible! He helped us find the right size, skate, and gave us all the info we needed about caring for them. He made our visit so enjoyable. Thank you Ryan!!
