We have had our daughter at this location for almost 2.5 years (2021-2023). Throughout that time we have been impressed with the teachers and Kelsey and Heather's direction of the facility. I truly believe that most of the staff at this center is phenomenal and I wish them all the best.Unfortunately, like many centers in the area, they have struggled a lot with staff retention and I have found often that my kid was shuffled to another class or being watched by other floats that we were never really introduced to. This seems fine occasionally, but happened pretty frequently in the most recent months. The real issue and what prompted our departure is the corporate response. Corporate has decided to raise the rates three times in the past 12 months, and unfortunately our paychecks have not also risen accordingly. LS is already at the higher end of the spectrum for tuition, but we had stayed due to the excellent quality of teachers and their flexibility for scheduling (which has recently been removed). After a meeting with corporate, we were extremally disappointed by their response. Although the teachers may care for our children, corporate definitely does not. The lack of empathy, and frankly the outright lies during that call from the LS president has led us to seek care elsewhere at this time.

The teacher turnover for the preschool classrooms seems excessive. My son has had 7 different teachers in under 2 years because so many teachers have left. It's hard to keep track of the revolving door and I often times have no clue who the new teachers are that are watching my kids (an intro email is sent to parents but never with a picture included so you don't know who is who).Additionally, prices increase by at least 5% every September and then they have also increased prices in January sometimes (in addition to in Sept) with only a month or two warning. It should be noted that during Teacher Appreciation week Little Sprouts parents are emailed with a suggestion of writing a review of the school as a way to "show appreciation for the teachers" (even though this is clearly mostly for the benefit of the for profit business rather than the teachers). I know at least 2 of the people who have written 5 star reviews here who have told me that they regret doing so and feel differently now.Update 9/5/23 - I wanted to give Little Sprouts ample time to reach out to me per their response below before updating my review. It has been 3 months and I have heard nothing which is both disappointing and yet unsurprising.

My daughter joined Little Sprouts in Norwood few months ago and has been very happy there. She bonded very quickly with Miss Lexia, Miss Lotta and Miss Lindsey. They have have been nothing but caring, always clearly and openly communicating about everything. It’s great to see her happy face on all the photos they sent of all the fun and educational activities they do. Both director and vice director have been great too. I see Heather in the infant groups very often and Kelsey has always been responsive and helpful.

Little Sprouts Norwood has a nice clean modern facility, excellent curriculum and fantastic teachers. My daughter has been going there for 4 months and she has really bonded with Ms. Lotta & Ms. Lindsey. They take the time to get to know all of the children and it shows because my daughter is always very happy there. I can tell the teachers care a lot and they always make the environment fun by interacting with the children and showing them new toys, books & activities. They also do a great job with the day to day care of feedings, changes, naps and keeping up with any special routines- making me very comfortable while she is there. I know their job takes a village so I really appreciate the time and commitment they have to each of their students!

Our son recently joined LS Norwood in the infant-toddler room and while we were nervous for his first time at a daycare, we were assured that he would be loved and taken care for. Miss Faradia has done an amazing job getting our son settled into this new environment, she is warm, patient, kind and always has a smile on her face. Our son quickly warmed up to her and it gives us great comfort to see him reach out to Miss Faradia during drop off every morning. We feel very happy to be a part of LS Norwood family, thanks to Miss Faradia, we really appreciate your time and effort into making this transition as smooth as possible for us!Miss Addie is another one our son’s teachers in the infant-toddler room and is always so much fun to talk to! She always greets our son with a smile and tries to soothe him whenever he is not having a good time! We appreciate Miss Addie’s positive and fun attitude and it’s always comforting to know that our son is under such great care at LS Norwood!

Lexia, Lotta and Kayshia have been the most amazing teachers. My son has only been at the school for a month, but he already loves it. Lexia greats him with a warm hello every morning. It makes me so happy to know he is starting the day with such loving attention. At the end of the day when I see Kayshia and Lotta, they are filled with energy. They always give a wonderful update about how the day went. After taking care of 7 babies all day, one would expect them to be tired, but there has yet to be a day that they’ve had low energy. They clearly love their job and are very good at it. I know my son is in excellent hands all day. Lotta and Kayshia have made his transition go so smoothly. He’s happy and on the move all day with them.

This school is very biased toward the AA culture (I am going to explain my reasoning for this statement). My grandson is 1 out of the 2 Black children left in the facility within a month 1/2 time had was ACCUSED 3 incidents that were totally out of his behavior. However 1 can agree with, as he said he did it because he wanted the book he chose to be read, and when it wasn't he threw it.During each complaint, I shared w/ my daughter not to apply negative reinforcement for the accusations, as what was being said did NOT match his behavior, telling her to look more into the “accusations”Today, (02/16/22) she received a call from the director Kelsey of the school informing her that her child “severely” bit another student in the arm (the teacher's son, which came out in conversation) over a toy and needed to be picked up immediately. Kelsey proceeded saying that before he returns there needs to be a meeting. I then told my daughter that they have 24-48 hours to set up a meeting to address the “behavior.” Kelsey, then shared that she need to speak to Heather (director of the program).Heather called my daughter saying “You need to pick up your son (his name) immediately, he just bit another child, on his leg, causing his skin to break, after snatching a toy from him”.My daughter interrupted her asking “was it his leg or arm”? Continued asking was she there in the school or was she reading from a paper.Heather, then became which sounded to me was agitated, asked my daughter not to cut her off. I too told my daughter to allow Heather to complete her reason. Heather continued sharing she was not there that she was home w/ her sick 6-year-old child, however that was the report she received.Listening in, via speaker as my daughter had two phones with her, I introduced myself asking (sounding a bit loud, due to wind and echoed from phone to phone speaker) I asked Heather to make the allegation make sense to me, using her personal as an example. Saying “Heather, you just shared that you have a 6-year-old child, correct” now if your child has the toy he wants in his presence, after “taking” from another child then why would your child bite the child who he “took the toy away from”?, questioning (but not really) then reiterating the question, trying to make it make sense. She then cut me off saying “regardless”, I asked her not to interrupt me, she continued saying as I said regardless she needs to pick up her son now, then telling me in a loud tone that I sounded “aggressive”, and I could not come to the facility to attend any meeting. Then said, there would be no meeting the children are being kicked out of the school., I then questioned “why” is it because I was making sense out of an issue that prevailed with research or does the color of his skin have a reason to your objective. She immediately yelled something, I could not make clear of and hung the phone up.Upon, arrival my grandson's tenor was elevated to see his mom, as he has been crying almost daily on his way to school, he was excited to see her early. When questioned about the “incident” he was a bit befuddled. Saying he was just playing with play-doh, my daughter then implored her question using play talk, ( again he’s 4), he again answered a bit perplexed saying “ he was just at the table playing, she then Questioned who bit the child”, in response, he said that the child (who is autistic) bit himself. If you know the symptoms of an autistic toddle, then this should divide some clarity. Though I feel like due to his disability the child should not be judged, as my grandson was, however, over-stimulated children should be given more visual when around other children, especially in schools. But, It then that it all made sense. He was not annoyed, nor troubled, as he was after throwing the book, but excited to be leaving school early. As of today, my grandson was terminated from school, without the staff completing clarity about the event never even speaking to him about the accusation placed on him.

The thought of leaving my little one with someone else for the first time was something I imagined having a very hard time doing. After my initial visit with the team at the Norwood Little Sprouts, that anxiety lessened. The first day at drop off, I was an absolute mess but Kelsey, Heather and the amazing teachers in Infant rooms 3 & 4 put my mind at ease. My 5 month old son goes in with a smile every day and his day is full with so many activities. My favorite part is not only the daily follow-up they send so I can see everything my son has done throughout the day, but also the photos they send throughout the day so I can see him interacting and learning with others. 10/10 would recommend to those who are looking for an amazing child care option.

This school is amazing! All the teachers are very nice, professional, clean and loving. The facility is always clean and organized. One of the many reasons I love them is because the school has a great sense of security by having a security access code only available to parents and employees. This assures parents that our children are extra safe from strangers or unfamiliar faces. I am so happy I choose them to care for my little ones while mommy and daddy are at work. Teacher Alexia (infant 4) is AMAZING! She does an amazing job at taking care of my little ones. She follows my routines exactly how I ask her to do which is so important. My daughter loves her and so do I . She is very nice, respectful and very very clean. The current director (Kelsey) is also amazing. She is always available via phone and emails which is hard to find sometimes. Please come by for a visit and see all the amazing this they do on a daily basis.
