I’ve been coming to Neal for a couple years now. He’s a very nice guy, always leaves me with my car feeling better driving off then when I brought it in - and he’s never tried to gouge me or quote extra work that my car doesn’t need like many other places I’ve been to and ALL those dealer service centers. I’ve raved enough to my girlfriend that now she brings her car there too!

I’ve been lucky enough to know Neal through his involvement in little league. He couldn’t be a nicer nor fairer guy. On a few occasions while looking for my first vehicle he has gone above and beyond. He knows cars inside and out, deal with people, compassionate, and does right by his customer. I highly recommend going to “Jakes Brakes” for any of your car maintenance.

Got a brake job done here recently. Price was very reasonable. Neil kept me informed on the progress and the cost, and explained the warranty. Pad, rotors, back to 100%. He does other service too, not just brakes. And he helps in the community- coaching youth baseball. I'll be taking my cars here in the future.

I wanted to defend Neil from Jake's Brakes from that comment saying he was racist. I've brought my cars to Neil many times, and I can tell you that he certainly is not racist (I am Vietnamese). I would give Jake's Brakes 10 stars if I could. He is the most honest and fair mechanic I have ever met, and I would recommend him highly to anyone who has any kind of car issue.

Asked to install stainless steel brake lines, and then bleed brakes and clutch with Motul 660. I was informed that he did not want to do the work. Bummer, as I like supporting small shops. Did it myself with flared wrenches and a vacuum bleeder kit for pennies on the dollar.

Neil is one of the best mechanics I've ever met. He really is that increasingly hard to find hardworking, extremely honest, and helpful professionals. He was extremely helpful with me in dealing with a dishonest dealer shop. A great guy running. great shop. He has me as a loyal customer for life. Couldn't possibly recommend more!

I took my car to the dealer for an inspection and they told me that I needed all four rotors done, quoting me $600 per axle. Knowing that price was ridiculous, I called up a bunch o loa mechanics for estimates. Neal from Jakes Brakes was the first to get back to me, gave me a great estimate and told me I could bring in the car right away. He's the owner and I think the solo mechanic, so I knew that I would be getting quality work. I brought my Subaru in the next day, he replaced the rotors in a few hours and did a fantastic job. It's not easy finding a mechanic you trust, but I will definitely be taking my car back to Jakes Brakes.

Went to jakes Brakes and we found Neal to be very knowledgeable and pleasant and easy to speak to. He did work on my car much cheaper then I was quoted for from another mechanic. He is reliable and honest. Just speaking with him you will find out how passionate and knowledgeable he is about his business.

Jakes Brakes and Auto Repair is the best! The owner is so friendly and helpful. I am now a lifelong customer! It is nice to go to a place for car repair and leave knowing your car is fixed properly for a fair price. I also go to Jakes for my regular oil changes and maintenance. I cannot say enough about Jakes Brakes!

Neal at jakes brakes is a very knowledgeable and honest mechanic. Always with a smile on his face he does great work and makes things right. You don't have the fear of going to a mechanic when you see Neal he is open and honest with you. Will definitely be going back!! Thank you Neal!!
