A big thank you to Vadim Khazhinsky at Herb Chambers Volvo, Norwood. Vadim was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient throughout our car-buying journey, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Car shopping, for me at least, is stressful, and there's always concern about encountering a pushy salesperson. However, Vadim's approach was refreshing, and we're genuinely pleased with both the buying and service experience.Replacing a car is a significant task, and while it's unlikely we'll need to do it again for another seven years, I'm grateful to have it checked off the to-do list, thanks to Vadim and the team at Herb Chambers Volvo. Highly recommend!

I recently bought a used certified car from them. car had multiple issues a even after taking it there multiple times to their service center still issues are not fixed. within 2 weeks of purchase car was not starting ans I was stuck in the midflebix the road with family and I ended up getting road side assistance from my insurance company. overall my experince was terrible and I would recommend you to not go to them for used cars. I am not sure about the new cars buying experience. their service center sucks and try to fix things using patches which will come back to you in few weeks. once sale happens, that's it and they dont even response to you. My car is still under 2 months dealership warranty they offered.

They only care about taking your license and entering your info into their computer. I went in saying I was just looking to get a trade in value for starters and if that ends up being unacceptable I was not wasting time talking about specific cars of interest. What does the sales lady do? She starts asking me which cars I'm interested in and also how much do I owe on my trade. She claimed she needed to know that in order to give me a trade in value! lol That's the oldest sleazy car salesperson trick in the book and it didn't fool me. I got offered almost $9k more for my trade elsewhere so these people are also the kings and queens of lowball offers. Go to Steingold not far away in Pawtucket, RI.

We had an exceptional experience buying a car from Patti. She moved the process along, did as much remotely as she could, and worked calmly. She did not need to sell us, we were buying- and she realized that. Extremely comfortable transaction.

I came here on June 13 for a used 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. My salesperson was Tony. He didn't have to sell anything as I specifically was looking for this SUV. I took it for a test drive and decided to purchase.I had cash in pocket but they took a check. I had a trade but they only offered $400 despite the sign out front that says they pay cash for your trade. I explain to the sales man to takeoff the trade on the paperwork because it wasn't worth it for me. $400 the tires itself with the rims are worth that much. I have been waiting two weeks for them to register this vehicle. I stated to them that my license is from Florida and Florida is my home state and that is where I want the vehicle to be registered. Massachusetts state law says you have seven days to get the vehicle to your home state to be registered. They are refusing to release his vehicle and they've had two weeks to get it registered. Can you imagine the frustration of paying cash for a new vehicle and not being able to take it home??? I'm totally devastated. I am due to work in Florida on the 29th which is today and also I still haven't heard a good explanation as to why I'm waiting so long for this vehicle. They have totally stolen the thunder out of purchasing a new car. I should be driving my Jeep grand Cherokee right now with a big smile on my face instead it's turned into the worst nightmare you could ever imagine. Finally, after 2 weeks, they called to say it's ready.Despite the 2 week wait, one of the managers Andrew worked with me daily to make sure the problems were resolved. Also, they gave me a check for $1200 compensation. The General manager Nick also worked effortlessly to make sure the car would be ready and he they also delivered the vehicle to me here in Rhode Island so that I didn't have to make another trip up to their dealership. All in all, everything was resolved and I may now get on the road in time for the holiday weekend. I have to say that my experience here ended up being a good one. They took a negative situation and turned it into a positive one and for that I'm grateful. And you is definitely an asset to that dealership. Thank you Norwood Volvo for taking the time to work with me. It is much appreciatedAndrew worked extremely hard to make things come to fruition. He totally saved the sale. He is truly an asset to your team.

A very bad buying experience...I made an appointment with a sales person over the phone. When I got there I told the desk person of my appt but another sales person took me without explanation of who I made an appt with. While this was happening I was getting text messages from the other sales person about my appointment which I did not respond to because I didn't know what to do and felt like I was stolen from them. Fast forward - I knew the car I wanted and then I'm given a paper by the sales guy with the number for monthly payments. They REFUSED to tell me the actual interest-rate they were quoting. I had to get a bit forceful and demand the interest-rate, then the manager came over and told me the interest rate was 7.99% which was horrible and gave me a better interest-rate and used varying credit scores as a reason and some other BS. Once I got a better rate they moved me to a women in the back who does all of the rest of the paperwork. She was initially nice and I could tell a bit showy with her designer purse in full view, but as soon as I told her I did not want any extended warranties her tone drastically changed. She told me " Who would not get an extended warranty on Mercedes or BMW? (rolls eyes at me) When your car breaks down I will have you buy me a coffee...Do you understand how expensive German cars are to fix?" I was so offended and upset by how she was speaking to me I did not know what to do and I wanted to leave the place immediately. Why would this dealership sell me a car but also at the same time tell me it's going to break down soon? I quickly walked out as soon as I finished the last signature and saw my sales guy with another customer. I told him he almost lost the sale and that I had a horrible experience. I called the dealership 3 times and left one message for the sales manager with my number and he never called me back. My sales guy told me he would make it up and that he was speaking to his manager but nothing followed. I would never recommend this dealership. This is the type of dealership who gives other dealerships and industry a bad reputation. This was supposed to be such an exciting day for me, to get the car that I've been wanting but they completely ruined it.

[A review of test drive only; will update if/when I buy a car] I arrived at HC of Norwood, and was told by the front desk that someone would be there in a moment. After waiting for 10 minutes, the front desk person said she would check again. At this point I just wandered over to the one and only floor model and started looking around. After a few more minutes a man came by and said they were very busy and that it would be another 10 minutes. But a minute or two later, a woman came over and introduced herself as Patti.By way of background, before visiting HC of Norwood, I read a bunch of reviews on here. I saw several negative reviews of Patti. So when Patti introduced herself, I thought "oh no!" But overall my experience with Patti was great. The things I appreciated about Patti:1/ She didn't try to upsell me on fancier models. Granted, I was already looking at an expensive XC90, but when I asked about the differences between the Momentum and Inscription models, she didn't try to convince me that the Inscription was better. Same when I asked about hybrid models, she said that unless we were driving several hundred miles per week, it would take us a while to break even on the extra cost.2/ She was low-key about the test drive. I was surprised when she walked me to the car, handed me the keys and told me to find her when I got back. I was expecting her to drive with me.3/ She took the time to understand our needs (fitting kids and car seats) and helped me understand which version and arrangement of seats would be best.4/ She didn't pressure me to make a deal right then and then. I explained I was in the research phase, and she encouraged me to come back with my wife before we're ready to buy so she could test drive as well. We also discussed supply chain constraints and the lead time that we'd need to get a car.If I had any complaints it was: a) the wait to get some help and while waiting no one offered me water or suggested that I look at the floor model or look around the lot; and b) Patti was very brisk and would sometimes cut me off in a "I know what you're going say, I've heard all before 100 times" kind of way. But that last piece is kind of par for the course with native Bostonians.Overall, I appreciated the experience. And since I was almost scared away by the negative reviews on here, I felt like I should leave my own review. Of course, the most important thing is the buying experience, so if/when we decide to buy here, I'll update with more information.

Leased a 2021 Volvo XC60 was lied to about certain features in the car but still loved the vehicle so I overlooked that. When it came to fixing a jammed gas tank cover and my rims since I have tire and wheel protection the manager mike told my husband to "shut his mouth" and let him speak. Was VERY rude and it was only 10 in the morning. Instead of trying to resolve simple issues , he's been super complicated and hard to work with. Now my husband is on his way back currently to get out of the lease due to such bad customer service !
