I went there after receiving letters from Kia on 2 issues: engine oil and antifreezer leak issues. My car was leaking oil so much, and still no warning light was coming on. So I ran the car without engine oil scores miles, if not hundreds. The car lost antifreezer (engine coolent) completely and overheated.
The mechanic diagnosed the problems were not where Kia extended warranties and told me i have to replace the engine with a used one for $10,000 of my own money. The car is a total junk at 145,000 miles, and Kia takes no responsibility. I strongly believe the dealership made the wrong diagnosis.

BUYER BEWARE!!!In my experience, most dealers care about good customer experiences and will pull the car off the lot if a customer puts a deposit. The GM at McGovern Kia of Norwood (Jimmy) and his sales team yesterday negotiated a sale with two buyers at the same time, they rolled the dice to see if they could make more money on that car.At the end of the purchasing process after test driving the car, signing first document and spending my day at the dealership the Sales Manager arrived telling me that he is very sorry but they just sold the car online to an out-of-state customer and that they received a deposit.If you read this review and your time is important, if you care about who you buy from. Don't waste your time working with McGovern Kia of Norwood - Frustrating experience!

Just picked up my new car! These guys are nice and easy to work with. They were patient in showing me different models and letting me test drive whatever I wanted and answering all my questions. Ended up reserving something that was coming in the next month, it arrived early. I worked with Warren and he was great. Thanks guys!

was hoping that the change from Dan O'Brien was going to be an improvement. No such luck. The place is just as bad, sales staff just as incompetent. Love the car; hate the dealership.

We bought a car here recently, and the sales management was incredibly slow. Overall the lobby is nice, the staff is friendly, but again the process was very very slow.

I love the car I got but hated this buying experience. I wasn't able to pick up my car until 2 weeks after I bought it and they changed the pick up date 5 times. I missed work and a couple appointments because I didn't have a car and would have gotten a car elsewhere if I knew this was going to happen. Before I went to look at the car, I asked if the vehicle maintenance was up to date or if it had any problems because in the photos online there was a warning light on the dashboard. I was falsely told that they had just put it through service and that everything was up to date. When I went to look at the car, the same light was on the dashboard and I was able to point out multiple things wrong with the car, which they then fixed in service and caused the delay in picking it up. I appreciate them fixing the problems but I am frustrated that they weren't fixed beforehand when I specifically asked about it. Then when I finally went to pick up the car, after calling and being told it was ready for pick up (hours after the original time they told me for that day), I arrived to the dealership 40 minutes later and had to wait another 45 minutes because it was "coming back from detail". Clearly my car was not available for pick-up and out of fear of upsetting me further, they told me yet another lie. Additionally, some of the interior complaints I had involving stains and such had not been fixed and I went home and cleaned them out myself. There is obviously a major issue with communication at this dealership. Not to mention the man I sat and did the financial paperwork with made me incredibly uncomfortable, commenting on my physical appearance and asking if I was in a relationship, along with other inappropriate personal questions. On a positive note, everyone else was very friendly and I will say that they have a good selection of cars at very fair prices, but I will never be buying a car from here again, nor will I be recommending them to anyone.

By far the nicest experience I have ever had getting my car serviced. When this place was owned by Dan OBrien, it definitely deserved to be a 1 star place. But now that it's under new management, I could not be happier to have chosen this spot. Kind, communicative, friendly, on time, and even offered to get us a lyft to Legacy Place while we waited for the service to be done. Thank you so much James and the lovely older man who greeted us!!!

I don't know what's the purpose of owning a phone if the establishment won't use it! Smh..Not only that, they need to make sure the number on their site is accurate. I assumed it was the number for the branch I was looking for in the Norwood area, ended up being some other branch in NH I was calling smh.Then, after searching around I found what I thought was the number, just call and keep calling with no answer. Do better! I just wasted time and effort trying to contact this place.

Evens saved the day! Went out of his way recognizing my military service and took time to assist in what was way beyond his duties after being ignored by several other employees. I thought to myself another entity not giving an ( expletive). I would follow him to whatever career he chose.

I recently bought a 2023 Kia Forte from McGovern they called about a week later to say my check had bounced.Called my bank and the check was never deposited.I'm still waiting for an explanation which hasn't come.In the next couple of days I will call Kia corporate and see what they say.
