There’s never a shortage of food there, they keep pretty well stocked. A young woman who works in the front minding the self checkout area, however, couldn’t have been any more rude to me today. Such unnecessary attitude. Wow. I don’t believe I’ve ever received such poor service…this is not the first time I’ve experienced this, either. Different woman last time. Sorry if you’re miserable at your job, but don’t take it out in your customers!

The store is kept clean and stocked pretty well, but if you ever need help for anything, good luck. Their customer service is terrible. If you ask a question to anyone that is not in that specific department you are inquiring about they will just simply tell you, they don’t work that department. Twice I’ve gone in to get something from their bakery and just couldn’t get someone to help me even after asking A manager and having them request help in bakery over the intercom.

Visiting Norwood and decided to stop in, nice store but I agree with some of these reviews, it's rare to see so many unkind workers. No smiles, no thank yous, really no eye contact, they were somber and well, rude. Just an ugly environment. There was this woman employee the front who looked to be angry and was yelling across the store. The whole place has a negative vibe. Not going back.

It’s worth the drive to go to Brockton Waltham or Ashland to go to a different supermarket than here. Way cheaper prices and a much better shopping experience.

For the past year and a half, I have been regularly doing twice per week shopping at the new Big Y Supermarket in S. Norwood. This supermarket is an all-around truly excellent business to do all your grocery shopping! In fact, better than any other Supermarket I have ever seen over the decades!
The parking outfront is super-easy, the store layout is clean in design and brightly lit and the shelves are always properly stocked! The Store Manager Nate and the Asst. Manager Peter do an impeccable job in keeping the Supermarket in true spotless condition at all times! The floors are always clean, the shelves are in perfect order with merchandise and are well maintained! At the Customer Service Desk, Meg always provides efficient and excellent service while being most polite! This Big Y Supermarket truly sets the industry "gold-standard" for operating excellence and management!
