I went to Zen Den because it was recommended to me. However, my experience was not positive: My first appointment , I did some of the exercises, and basically Mary just touched me at different spots and didn't do much. My second appointment, I arrived on time, but someone, apparently a local celebrity's grand-son showed up, so they made me wait for 15 minutes. I had another appointment where I was just being touched by another therapist and not much else. I complained about the wait, and I was told they would give me an extra 15 minutes next time. In other words, I had to pay another 175.00 dollars to be touched for 50 minutes, and get an extra 15 minutes of touching. I honestly don't know how anyone gets better by this place. Also, I noticed several mention of Karma from the owner, well you kept my money, so does that mean Karma is coming to you?

I have no idea how their services are because they don't respond to the text they ask you to send "pain assessment" to. Or their request form filled out on their website. Finally get a text with a time (with apology for delay). Respond yes and never hear anything else. Voicemail is always full. Nobody answers phone. Two minutes until appointment I said yes to.....still no reply.

I absolutely love the new space that Zen Den has to offer. It brings peacefully thoughts immediately. The whole staff was knowledgeable and helpful with questions I had. Mary has helped me realign my hip and continues to help as needed.

I typically don't write reviews but felt compelled to do so as my experience at Zen Den and especially with Mary (the owner) was so horrific. I was convinced by Mary that symptoms I was experiencing was due to an unresolved concussion (which I now know is false) and was told I needed to spend 2 weeks at her clinic so she could heal me. I was forced to pay the full 3k up front and was told I needed to spend another 1k whilst there for various "treatments". I was warned by 2 different doctors prior to going that she sounded like a quack, I wish I had heeded their advice.Unfortunately the first day at her "clinic" Mary and her associate injured my head quite badly. Mary told me that the skull plates in my head were sitting on top of each other and she needed to push them back into place (despite having 2 clear MRIs prior). For the rest of my time there I only saw Mary a couple of times despite going in every day twice a day for 2 weeks and telling her clinicians I was in immense pain from what they did. Every time I asked to speak to her I was blown off and told the pain was normal.Since going to Zen Den, I have spent every minute of every day in pain (which I did not have prior). I have not once been able to put my hair in a ponytail or brush my hair without immense pain. I still to this day have not once spoken to Mary about my injury, she has completely denied what happened and what she initially told me and has resorted to lying about what transpired. If a client is telling a business owner they sustained injury by them, it is their duty to take it seriously. At least one of my parents was in every session with me and can fully attest to what happened. I was also told several things by Mary that turned out to be false. For someone that claims to care so much about their clients and positivity, goodwill, etc, it is shocking the abject lack of care she has for giving someone a permanent serious injury hat has greatly negatively impacted their life.

I'm pretty sure they closed and/or rebranded. They had a float tank and I used it once. Smelled really bad. They gave me a credit but I was never able to use it. They stopped responding to my emails. Now the website is \\\"Zen Den Medical\\\" and they're no longer connected to Open Doors Yoga.

I met Julia about a year ago when she came to my house and did Polarity Therapy for my boyfriend and I. I had underlying anxiety but nothing specific I needed to target. I was more so just interested in Polarity Therapy after reading about it and finding out she was local. That experience was a new one and a great one. MORE RECENTLY (yesterday), I visited the NEW ZenDen on Broadway in Newport. The space is SO welcoming and warm. I felt relaxed as soon as I arrived. Julia is extremely knowledgeable about the body/energy. I have bad TMJ and tension in my neck that has resonated in my body due to high stress from work and emotional issues. She worked WONDERS on not only my body, but my MIND. I left there feeling so much better and free of whatever emotional pressure was building up in my throat. She’s caring, insightful, gentle and knowledgeable about so many body systems. If you have never tried anything like this, I HIGHLY recommend her. ✌??

Customer service was excellent, float tank was very relaxing. Recommend bringing a waterproof case for your phone if you want music.

Racism is not good for anyone particularly in a yoga studio. The owners use of the word "chinky" to describe facial features and the trying to justify it is just awful.

I'm not sure this place is even open. They offer IV therapy but I have called over 10 times and no one has ever picked up the phone. Looks like they offer great services, might suffer from poor service.

Beautiful space and the wellnetreatment options are endless. I tried a foot bath and a infrared sauna to start. I felt a amazing after! My feet gave off a rust looking sludge!! #oddlysatisfying.
