CVS is a popular retail and pharmacy chain that offers a variety of services and products. The store staff are generally helpful and friendly, providing good customer service even during busy times or supply shortages. Customers appreciate the assistance they receive, especially when shopping for makeup or other items, with staff willing to help struggling shoppers find what they need. The retail store features a wide selection of merchandise, but some customers find the prices high on regular items like candy, frozen meals, and batteries, often comparing them unfavorably to competitors such as Walmart or Market Basket. CVS also provides COVID-19 testing for eligible individuals, with options for lab and rapid testing in some locations. However, high demand can lead to delays. The pharmacy experience varies; some customers express frustration with long wait times, limited staffing, and a perception that CVS prioritizes profits over patient care. Despite helpful staff, there are concerns about long waits for prescriptions, vaccine administration, and poor communication, with some customers choosing to move their prescriptions elsewhere. Many customers feel that CVS offers good deals through programs like Carepass, which can save money and include coupons and Extrabucks, making shopping more affordable. Overall, CVS is seen as a helpful, convenient store with some concerns about pricing and pharmacy service quality.
I just went and picked up a prescription from the Norwell,Ma CVS and had the most wonderful experience at the drive-through. Paige was super helpful and also super pleasant. It was very refreshing to interact with someone that is truly good at her good her job.

They were very helpful. I had a list of make up type items to get and I know nothing about make up. They saw me struggling and offered help. Can’t ask for better customer service.
