I went with Ron’s to rebuild my transmission. Works better then new.. high quality work. They’ve done a smaller job for me in the past as well. Both times were an excellent experience. I would highly recommend Ron’s to anyone.Service: Transmission

Diagnosed my 2011 GMC Yukon with a front differential problem. Told me he would install a rebuilt one with a one year/12,000 mile warranty in August of 2021 for $2,800. Work was completed and during a routine oil change 6 months later the shop that performed the work informed me that the differential was leaking. Called Paula and tried to get appointment to have truck looked ant and she was rude and could not accommodate us. Covid and a wedding prevented us from continuing to follow up and during this time they were contacted several times to report problem. Though the year has expired on the warranty the truck has approx 9000 miles on it since work was done. Today I was informed that I need to have it repaired again. The only time Paula was concerned was when I threatened to contact the BBB. All records of phone calls have been kept and will be following up this time with legal help. Truly disappointing!

Abslouty trash I called them up asking to get my transmission diagnosed and he told me thanks anyways I'll pass refused to look at it

My son dropped his Subaru off on Monday , received it back on Wed. Needed a new clutch. Very reasonable prices. Ron did a great job and Paula made the transaction very easy over the phone. Highly recommend

Ron has been the transmission / general mechanic of my family for about a decade now. It started when we first went to Ron with my Dad's 2004 Mercury Mariner when the transmission went out around 150,000 miles. Ron rebuilt the transmission and that car went on that rebuilt transmission for another 200,000 miles before we finally traded it in. Next up, we brought him my 09 Mercury Mariner that another mechanic had somehow destroyed the PCM during an unrelated repair. Ron was able to help get that PCM rebuilt while helping replace the coils that had been damaged in the engine.A few years later we brought him that same 09 Mercury mariner again after Sullivan tire had said "we thought it was the throttle body issue- and now we are unsure." Within two hours he was able to identify the multiple issues that existed and was able to get that car back on the road quickly. I live in Quincy MA now (about 45 minutes away) but I make the drive down to Norton whenever I have a mechanical issue because of the trust I have in Ron.
