I used to come here all the time bc i was a delivery driver in 2023 and the staff were usually quite friendly and prices were better than most places, but keep in mind Flynn’s just down the road will have better prices 9/10 times.
I’ve noticed some of the staff that worked there have soured over time, particularly one dull staff member who has a preoccupation with rules and people “breaking rules”… he acts like the general public have memorized the Peterson’s Oil Service rules like the Pledge of Allegiance or the 10 Commandments… and boy howdy he’ll let you know if you’ve broken one.
Luckily, I had the misfortune of breaking only one rule in 2023, when he guided with a gentler hand, essentially wagging his finger at me. Now, I’ve witnessed him talking to other people and he’ll raise his voice, his tone will sour, and he’ll even argue with clients if they break any of his rules. Once he asked one man with an Afrikaans accent “Can you read english?” after demanding he get in his car, then telling him to “read the sign” which presumably only says that its full service and to wait in your car. Maybe that has the list of sacrosanct rules that shall never be broken and I’ve been blind to it all along

Very Massachusetts attitude. Be ready and prepared, and the attendants will be pleased. They can become busy very fast. You might start as the only car there, and by the time your tank is full, all of the pumps are occupied.

I have been coming to this gas station for about 2 years. However, the gas attendant that was present today (during the afternoon around 4:30 pm) assured that I will find somewhere else to give my business to. I asked to fill up my tank, due to the incoming snow storm. The total ended up being around $10. The attendant came back to scoff at the amount, made a comment about it being “only $10”. When I answered that I just wanted to fill up the rest of my tank due to the storm, he walked off muttering rude things about me underneath his breath. Every person in my car was shocked at his unprofessional and nasty response.From the beginning to the end of the transaction I was polite to this attendant. There was nothing that I did that warranted him saying nasty things, which I could clearly hear, under his breath. We are all humans and deserve to be treated with respect. The staff member may be having a bad day, however, he should learn to speak to people with the same respect he was spoken to.

I have to agree with Wilber and Charlotte, lately this station has been short staffed and the staff seem overwhelmed. Today there was one island open and the traffic was directed so only people with gas cap on their left could pull in. When I told the attendant I have a gas cap on the right he snapped at me that he can’t direct traffic, so I went to a self service gas station where I could fill my own right sided tank.

People , you gain nothing by displaying all this Ukrainian flag nonsense , but you can loose business from actual customers,that would like to use your station , if it was not for that .
