I have shopped at Steve's for 30 years and have always found him to be fair and honest. A great shop to find quality items at a reasonable price.

I have been buying Antiques from Steve for about 10 years. They are VERY fair and have a fantastic variety for the size of the shop. The last time I was in there they just got in a new shipment of collectables that took me about an hour and a half to go through. They sell jewelry and repair broken jewelry. They do appraisals and purchase broken jewelry as well as coins and coin collections. After buying so many items from Steve I have gotten to see what a great business man he is by talking with him and negotiating many of the prices of items I have bought. He is very open to haggling on price. He is very in tune with his clients. I hope you take the time to stop by his shop. I suggest checking out his facebook page for new items coming into the store on a daily basis. I noticed his address is wrong. The address is actually 75 Main st. Northborough, MA.

This is an extremely small shop with a limited supply of knick knacks, antique jewelry and a few furnishings, run by the shopkeeper who described it as a retirement hobby. The highlight for us were the distressed wood dining tables which the proprieter custom orders from the builder, who makes his pieces from reclaimed barn timber. According to what he told us, and as attested by a newspaper article on the wall, he apparently has a reputation for very fair prices on unwanted gold, so that's probably the main draw of the place now. If you're looking for a browsing experience though, this is probably not the place for you.

Stopped in a few weeks ago looking for furniture. The majority of the items are home furnishing so I was in luck. The shop is on the small side with only two rooms. The items are all in good condition and the prices are very fair. You can bargain with the owners as well and I didn't feel any pressure to walk out the door with a purchase. My fiance and I spotted an interesting bar table that we spoke to the owner about, she was happy to show us how it worked. I asked about the bargain basement which has since been let go due to the cost of the lease. I didn't purchase anything on my first visit but plan to check back periodically for furniture.

Great place if you need to sell some gold or silver. I got a much more fair price here for a sterling flatware set than I did at one of those mega companies that rents space in the malls for a few days at a time. While I was waiting to speak to the owner who was with a customer, I looked around the place. Lots of beautiful unusual pieces at good prices. There was a large oak farm table that would seat 8 easily for under $300. The owner was very friendly and told me about the history of the site where the store sits along the Assabet. He threw in a cute toe ring I was admiring for my daughter at no cost, even though he had just handed me a wad of cash for my silver. Nice!

Great place! On the small side, but great anyway. This guy has a fantastic stock of antique furniture and he's very will to negotiate on price. In addition to the store, there is bargain basement that you have to walk around the outside of the building to get to... Lots of quality stuff at great prices. I think it might even be worth a drive (a couple of towns) to get to!
