Worst sales department ever. Purchased a new truck from Barry’s, it started leaking oil 3 days later. Sales department fought with me on paying for a tow into there shop, finally there service manger called and set things up. But I have been trying to reach them for 2 days now about a loaner vehicle as I will he out of my new vehicle for 5 days. I have called several times to try to figure out a vehicle and no one will answer my calls or return my messages. Typical scummy sales people.

I really like these guys. I.m in my ninth Saab and they service
it for me. Where else can you drop a Saab off and say fix it. They know exactly what to do. As to demeaner its an auto garage so be prepared to work in that fashion. Not a new shinyvdealership.

We have purchased 3 cars over a period of 10 years and had 5 different vehicles serviced at Barry's. We feel like they are part of our family. We drove in one night with a headlight out and it was quickly fixed even though Mike was in the process of closing the shop. My daughter had a flat near by, and Mike fixed it and sent her on her way. I sent a friend in from Boston to have his Saab looked at and Mike was able to quickly diagnose the problem and advise him. I could not say enough positive things about they buying or repair experience. By the way we have had a GMC truck and Pontiac worked on at Barry's along with the three Saabs we have purchased from them.
As for the person who claims to have had trouble with them, all I can say is you must have come in with an attitude or asked the impossible.
I just picked up my GMC truck after leaving it with them with a long laundry list of repairs, and I know I am paying much less for all the repairs than all the other shops.

I've always had good experiences at Barry's. I bought my Saab there a few years ago, and brought it to them for repairs after an accident. They found the parts I needed and finished a major repair in a timely fashion. I've found them to be friendly, professional and courteous, and upfront about charges. I'd recommend them.

A worst experience I ever had with this Co. after purchase of SAAB 95 2004 Station Wagon. A sale after service is horrible AND their charges are too high and deceitful on repairs. However Barry (Owner) is very nasty, rude, arrogant old man, racist and disrespectful to me today when I took my car to fix car door with an appointment given by his Chief Mechanic Mike Gould. He turned me down after driving my vehicle about 60 miles round trip.However this is not only garage in MA but there is a way to deal with customer politely. These people lack customer service skill and they charge customers fraudulently with parts and services not rendered per my recent experience. SO PUBLIC IS HEREBY CAUTIONED BY ME TO BE ALERT WITH THIS CO/BARRY OLD MAFIA LOOKING GUY FROM FLORIA. BUY CARS ON CRAIGLIST /AUCTION AT CHEAPER PRICES WITH CAR FAX REPORT AVAILABLE ON LINE. I BOUGHT SAME CAR WITH LESS MILEAGE BETTER MODEL ON CRAIGLIST FOR $ 500.00 CHEAPER THAN WHAT I PAID TO THIS OLDMAN WHO HAD SWEET MOUTH TO CLOSE SALE AND AFTER SALES HE WILL SHOW HIS TRUE COLORS. DO NOT DEAL WITH CO IN ORDER TO SAVE BIG MONEY. IF CALL THEIR GARAGE THEY NEVER PICK UP CALLS.
