When they remove the fruit flies and the staff stop talking trash about each other I might consider returning.

Was told by a supervisor that the reason they won't redeliver was because I live in low income housing. I called in to ask about a package that was being held at the post office. I had decided I was going to return the item, it was large and bulky and didn't want to pick it up just to return it. I wanted to know how long it would take to be returned if I left it there. The postal counter worker, Erin, misunderstood what I was asking and instantly copped an attitude with me, she assumed I wanted it redelivered. She told me the package was heavy and, Robin, the delivery person, had already lugged it over to my place and wasn't going to do it again. It was at this point that I wondered if they were just deciding on their own what parts of their jobs they needed to do. I started asking questions about their policies regarding redeliveries then Erin started full on shrieking at me over the phone. Mind you, I didn't even call to have the my package redelivered, it was purely her bad attitude about doing her job that made me question the redelivery policy. Eventually, I spoke with a supervisor in Easthampton that told me "You have to understand, they get so many issues with people who reside in your apartment complex Erin's bad attitude is understandable." Also, I was told that redeliveries are at the discretion of the local post office. I guess redeliveries are a service only the rich get. The most messed up part is that Erin, with her stereotypes and bad attitude is still at our local post office.

This morning was at least the third time this year that someone from the Florence post office has dropped off packages that are wrapped in cardboard, left them on my porch in the middle of a goddamn rainstorm for them to get completely destroyed and then when I called to complain they simply tell me that that person who delivered the packages will be spoken to. Then the same s*** happens all over again a couple months later. On top of this I was told there was no compensation whatsoever and they couldn't do anything for me and oh well that my mothers handmade birthday presents from my siblings just got completely destroyed. The fact that there's no compensation for a completely incompetent employee destroying my personal property is incredibly f****** ridiculous! If I had the money I would sue them! Completely unacceptable and absolutely absurd! Even if this moron of an employee gets fired because of my complaint will that in some way make my packages be less sopping wet and destroyed?! No! -extremely pissed off and miss treated postal customer

If stamp collecting is your thing, than this is the post office for you! They have an excellent selection of current stamps, and a decent group of slightly older stamps. If you're looking for a specific newly released stamp, and other area post offices are already out of it, try the Florence Post Office.
