Two months ago I would give 5 stars as the place was always welcoming and clean. Whether it's new management or the all-new staff - turnover is ridiculous - using the mat in the abs section I continually encounter dirt, the women's counters and seats by the lockers look like someone sprayed them with ? and then sloppily wiped it off leaving spots and streaks and general dirty look. And the mirrors, spots everywhere on them, again like they were sloppily wiped. Then there's the doors that are riddled with finger and hand prints.I have been a regular member at this club since it opened in 2019 and it has never been so nasty looking. This use to be a haven of tranquillity and exercise, part of my self-care ritual, and now I don't even want to go. Something has to change.

The gym is clean, and while not all the time, some associates can be better upon greeting.

It's a great gym, but no matter what the owner or manager says, they do NOT stop people from using the equipment like furniture, use their phones or "chat". Especially in the 360 work out. They say to report it but when you do the staff just shrugs their shoulders and do nothing. Nor will they give you the name or contact info for the manager. I love going there and the 360 work out is my favorite but nobody there follows the rules to it. The gym is clean, safe and equipment is great. But the staff is lazy and not one bit helpful.

I'm a new Planet Fitness member after years of membership at Northampton Athletic Club. I stopped frequenting all athletic facilities at the start of the pandemic. Finally ready to start getting back to things the way I used to, I decided to consider the options available to me rather than just continue with what I knew. I took a tour of this Planet Fitness location and was immediately certain that this was where I would join. This gym is basically brand new with ample equipment--it's so large that you can feel like you're at your own private gym even when others are working out. There's never any issue with getting a cardio or weight machine. Something I didn't realize was that planet fitness has both free weights and weight machines. The bathrooms are sparkling clean and are reminiscent of a modern hotel lobby bathroom. The crowd-o-meter in the app lets you know how busy the gym is at any given time (usually, it hovers around 3 bars out of 20). Oh, and the gym is open and staffed 24/7. You can also elect to pay for an entire year upfront on a credit card if you're not interested in paying monthly via ECH. It was a no-brainer for me.

Huge, clean, modern, convenient, aaaaaannnnndddd.......Ten f****** dollars a month!!!! No other gym(at least in this area) comes close to this value. If you don't care about classes, pools, spa amenities, etc, then this place can not be beat.

I was able to exercise and listen to my earbuds in peace. No sonic bleeding in from a radio blasting overhead. In fact, I could barely hear the radio or TVs at all! This is a great thing: employees and customers should not have to be tortured by a loud sound system pumping in annoying music. Let people have their own headphones with their own music.Thank you to the NoHo Planet Fitness for keeping the volume down. It makes the experience so much better.

Always crowded. Not enough space or equipment for the number of people using the gym. Is it even really a gym if it doesn’t have barbells?

I'm disappointed by the lack of Black Card amenities at this location. I wanted to join for the red light therapy (PF's Total Body Enhancement) and was hoping they had a spray tan booth since I don't want cancer from a traditional tanning bed, but after visiting the location on a day pass, I learned they have neither. if they only had the Total Body Enhancement booth , I would have signEd up for a black card membership on the spot!!

I love this gym, but I was there today and as a licensed healthcare provider in Northampton Massachusetts I am disappointed in the lackadaisical approach to mask wearing by members and people working there. Many folks wearing masks below their nose, and not wiping equipment after use. I have seen the worst of covid and they seem out of touch. I have long hauler patients that can’t get vaccinated, and people having problems getting breakthrough covid cases creating chronic illness. I wish they would step up, and enforce the smart mask wearing rules, and wear masks over their nose and mouth. Disappointing. The people that work there wear the mask below their nose as well, what’s the point, it doesn’t work that way people.
