I have been shopping at thrift stores for many years. I was thinking that after the Northampton store was closed for renovation. It would be improved. I think that this store is very poorly organized and the decision to hang Clothing by color rather than size was a big mistake. It takes too long to look through everything hoping to find the size you want. Also, they did away with the changing rooms. I’ve been to many other goodwill stores, and this seems to be the most disappointing one.

I’ve been coming here for years. The parking situation is tough because of king street. The store is newly renovated and looks nice. It’s a smaller store so don’t expect a large variety. Often there is a good selection of things but other times very bare bones. It really depends on when you come to the store. I’ve gotten clothes for a wedding here that looked great. Some nice dish wear. A football. Some Christmas decorations. And 2 pairs of men’s shoes, as well as some art. Don’t expect to find treasure every time, but sometimes you get lucky. I’d recommend it to people who live near by.

What in the Sam hill to they treat the clothing with? It has an odor of powerful disinfectant that is virtually impossible to remove. Worst thing is you can't really smell it in the store until you get it home and nothing is returnable anymore since the pandemic! If anyone knows what the stuff is and/or how to remove it-!!!! Please let me know. I will not buy any clothing there ever again until they stop polluting it with that nasty stuff....

There should be a notification noted indicating that this location is closed for renovations instead of leaving the hours of operation. Prior to the closing,the store was not well organized and someone dirty. Maybe the renovations will prove to be a step in the right direction. I suspect the prices will still remain quite high for a thrift store. Seems to be the direction of Goodwill. The CEO and upper echelon suits who pu well over 6 figure salaries have something to do with that.

My husband and I witnessed a Goodwill employee push a cart with several items in it from the donations door to her car. She came around from the side pushed the cart right up to her car and loaded the items into the back of her vehicle. Then went back into the donation area when we were in the store we could see her in the back working. The thought of donating here after what we saw never again. It is so very sad that donations are being taken from the door and put into an employee's car and not even making it in the door. Where I come from it is called stealing. So very disappointed in this Goodwill.

DO NOT make the mistake working here. goodwill is a terrible company that allows racist behavior. That work place is full of drama and people on power trips. You’ll never get to use your pto. It’s a joke. Never do it.

Not a great thrift store. The men's section is bare, as in most thrift stores, but the real problem is that it is dirtier and has more expensive and lower quality clothes than any other thrift store I've seen. The service isn't so great either, from my experience, as staff is kind of impolite and not very available.
