Excellent quality work at very reasonable prices with friendly accommodating staff. Only issue is they are so popular that you have to wait a bit to get the work done. Once they have your car they are very efficient in getting it back to you. My first choice for auto body work. Consistently excellent over the years.

Brought a well worn but beloved car for them for a hood repaint and rust repair. the hood came back with orange peel spots. looks like little drops of water, but the hood is dry.2 yrs later: hood is peeling in spots. some rust repair holding, some on the underside they just literally bondo'd over then rubberized undercoat over the bondo. lame. already falling apart. our instructions were to fix it well, even if it came in over the estimate. instead they stuck to the estimate and I guess made big compromises to do so?Services: Body & Trim

Recently had some painting done following a minor accident. 1812’s estimate was half that of two other auto shops in town. The quality of the work was exceptional, the price was right, and the staff is really down to earth, friendly and honest!!

I had my back bumper replaced. The woman at the front desk was nice and helpful. They did a great job for a great price and it was done in timely fashion. Would definitely go back (although I hope I don’t have to!).

This is the BEST body shop. He is patient and thorough and makes you feel like he is doing his very best to get you an honest and fair price. Best estimate in the area BY FAR, saved me a ton, and work is PRISTINE. I will ONLY go here from now on. Worth the wait.

We brought several different vehicles to 1812 to have repairs done. We've used them to repair our personal vehicles, our work trucks and my family's cars. They are honest and reputable. They have always done excellent work and I will continue to use them for repairs to all my vehicles and my family's vehicles.

My world was turned upside as I sat innocently at a red light and the car behind me didn't. I was miraculously uninjured but my car, my pride and joy, was already unquestionably totaled. I was in Florence, MA and 1812 responded with the tow truck. I had heard good things about them; only wish I didn't have to learn more about them by going this route! Pleasantries began when Kris in the tow truck introduced himself to the still rattled me and explained clearly and calmly my options. I chose to have it towed to 1812 while I rented a car and later went there. Pleasantries continued when the lovely woman behind the desk greeted me (still not technically open for business) and offered me a cup of coffee. Again, all was explained as I met other staff, and cleaned out my car. It was so complete, I never had to go back. Could NOT have gone better.

I own a 1972 AMC Ambassador Northampton Police tribute cruiser... it was in need if body work to keep it going. Always community minded, Tom kept telling me to get it into the shop. I finally did. The work done was great, they did above and beyond to keep my car looking and running good. To Kris, Jeremy and especially Peggy and Tom for their time and effort to keep my project alive and being Sponsors of NPD Car 46 !!!
