The ladies at the shop clearly knew their stuff concerning alterations and bustling and didn’t just clip the dress to make it fit you, but would show you how it might actually fit after alterations. They were the perfect balance of helpful without being pushy too which is a breath of fresh air!It was so much fun to be able to go and look through the racks of dresses myself, and choose styles for myself, which was not an option at other stores. It meant I tried on things that caught my eye which weren’t styles I had considered before-and I ultimately chose one of those ‘unexpected’ styles which was fun!They were also incredibly kind to my sister who is fully blind and brought her guide dog. Other bridal salons ignored my sister entirely, but Consignment Bridal and Prom included her in the whole process and brought her over to me to let her feel the dresses I tried on and would describe the details to her that weren’t tactile.It was hands down the most fun I had shopping for a dress and it was nice to be able to take a dress home with me that day which needed almost no alterations at all!”

“I just want to say how absolutely awesome my experience has been with Brahim's! I first came to Brahim's to get my engagement ring sized. The sizing process was very easy and came out perfect. It only took a couple of weeks. They offer free jewelry cleaning, which I have used to periodically get my engagement ring professionally cleaned. Most recently, I ordered my wedding band through Brahim's, which took just a little over a week to come in and is gorgeous. The customer service and experience of going to Brahim's has been wonderful, and I can't wait to go back again in the future!”

“Wow, these folks take good care of their elderly customers! I arrived early for my appointment, and they completed the appraisal of my items in much less time than expected. As a result, I was done almost an hour before my taxi would arrive. The staff asked me whether I had a ride. When I told them about my taxi's expected arrival, they invited me to sit in their lounge till then. Then, shortly before the expected arrival, I went to the front entrance to watch out the window. And the staff brought a chair for me to sit in while waiting! Excellent service! Incidentally, the appraisal consisted of a streak test and a chemical test, which showed that my items had very little value. Because of this, the staff did not even charge me anything for the appraisal!”

From strangers! It's completely blinged out! Which is what I wanted. Now let me tell you my mistake. I 1st went to Barmakian's. The sales woman said "we only have 1 setting for a half carat". I wasn't very thrilled but I went for it. 4 months later I had a setting that made the 1/2 carat look even smaller! Then I remember my girlfriend raving about Princess Diamonds. Her ring by the way - sunglasses are needed! Stunning. Nanette just knows what you want & she makes it happen! Love her! Won't go anywhere else from now on.”
