The staff is perfectly fine, but they are unable to process my insurance whenever I go in. Really can't rely on this place because of it. Really recommend going somewhere else

Their management there is horrible. They treat their employees very poorly. They have the worst produce and it's always moldy. Worse store to ever shop at.

Thank you so much to Holly Clark and the North Brookfield Hannafords! They donated the food for our end of year 6th grade BBQ. Without that donation we wouldn’t have been able to have such a great day for the kids! Thank you so much

Good selection and friendly staff; store is always well kept, clean and organized. Has a staffed deli, seafood, bakery. Somewhat smaller location when compared to a city; expected with location. Amazing what they fit into location (even has a mini hot bar and olive bar, well kind of). Little make your own pizza section is nifty. Only issue I ever had was 1 moldy items; impressive considering 200+ times i've been over years (was a pre-made calzone, must of been packed hot). Details: Produce: Often fair to good; no real issues other then missing less-common items at times ie; (cilantro, small bell peppers, etc). Veggies are decent and no real complaints. Fruit is also fair to good; sometimes avocados, tomatoes and grapes can be more B quality do to green-packing. Apples are usually excellent with local orchards. Cherries in summer are always fantastic. Meats; typically well stocked; will be outages/missing items at busy times. Pork is is very affordable and often a bargain, overall ok meat. Steak/beef is outrageous (but it is everywhere now) and quality is hit or miss, not alot of stock / selection. Chicken: mostly ok, good selection, usually in stock. hotDogs, hams, bacon, sausage: always fully stocked and good Turkey; never in stock (sad face) Coffee, drinks, almost always well stocked; great selection. Bread isle is probably the worse (still not awful); often un-stocked or missing items; tends to be the more messy isle. Pricing is always moderate range; average full cart ranges at 200-250 range if I am not paying attention. Some price shenanigans; but not awful (they all do it). (My seltzer and coffee beans seem to be hitting inflation like crazy) Staff; always friendly. Lines; not bad, no more than 5mins usually. Covid lockdowns; pretty much gone; no stupid isle markers / arrows, dirty looks or other forced mask mandates. People acting like humans again (always a good thing).

I have been shopping at Hannafords for over 50 years! Everyone that works there is very personable. Thank you to all the employees working tirelessly during Covid-19 to stock and restock shelves for patrons. May you all stay well!

In reality, if I could, I'd give this place 2 or 3 stars on some things, higher on others and 7 or 8 stars out of 5 on one employee that really goes above and beyond, which averages out to 5 stars! This place is clean, at least fairly clean, there is a lot of foot traffic and maybe the wet weather a factor, but I think the floors could be cleaner to be honest. I don't notice a problem with things being not in stock, with the exception of Wheaties several months ago, but Wal-Mart and everyone seemed out of that at the time; perplexing but true. The chicken patties were out for some time once, but after I mentioned it and got an inconclusive answer, they were back a couple days later. They were out one more time, and I intentionally talked loud so a worker could overhear me. They never were out again except maybe once briefly, in fact they are usually plentiful now. The selection is good to great, as is the organization for the most part, but I can't understand why some things are where they are, the mac and cheese in a box for instance. The employees are generally OK or a little cold and rude. Like most places I go, I get asked all the time "Can I help you?", and I know it is not politeness or professionalism, but said in a suspicious way like "buy something or get out". To be honest, I have only been asked that twice but both were quite recent. Let's just say up front I come here alone, sometimes I buy things and sometimes I don't. Sometimes I just play the lottery. More often than not, I am here with my brother who does the shopping. Regardless, I speed walk around the store several times in a short time for exercise, to collect my thoughts on what I need, or to build up my nerve to face whoever I encounter in the front. The produce manager seems inwardly suspicious but outwardly friendly. I don't deal with the deli much, but they keep their eyes on me. I have never seen anyone buy fish here EVER, and we are talking many years. The meat and grocery people are generally OK, but a young kid stacking shelves and an older manager guy near the meat section asked if they could help me find something. An evening manager gives me dirty looks, but I noticed that's how she usually is whether I am near or not. The bakery manager seems the same way. A large lady in front gives me bewildered disgusted eyes and a funny look. Some pink shirted manager stared me down every time he saw me, although he has since stopped doing that. Even some customers do that at times for no apparent reason; I will leave it to the imagination how that makes me feel or how I want to react. The cashiers are OK, one a little better, and then there's one that intrigues me who is actually nice at times and always respectful, a breath of fresh air for sure! This one employee, first in the front end and then in the courtesy booth most of the time, is impressive to say the least! She must have started in the last few months maybe a little longer. At first, I saw her talking to bagboys and she did some kind of impressive crane kick or something in front of them. I got the impression that she was someone who talks a lot and does little. Wow, I couldn't have been more wrong! I have seen her many times since, and have never seen her standing around and talking (some others do this even as long lines build) EVER! Prior to frequently working the courtesy booth, I saw her scurrying around like mad putting items in a basket back on the shelves. I thought I was a speed walker but she could go around the store at least 4 times to my one and had a basketful of returns put back in no time! It is also refreshing to see a young woman that is not overweight. She is just the right weight for her size and petite, but she can push a large load of carriages with the best of them! I thought she was cold at first as a cashier, but she was warm and helpful for the most part ever since. The last time I was there she managed to help me make less
