I've been coming here for about 3 to four years around late covid time with my dad and we've been coming up here since it is a short walk to were I live which is a short walk but prices are really fair for everything and staff is really amazing as well I would always come here

I bought a game that had a label stating it was CIB. This means it is supposed to be a game that includes box, disc, and manual. Most people who collect games will only consider CIB. I am not as strict but it does affect the value as missing manual or box will obviously result in a lower purchase price.
I got home and opened their seal- which they put on literally every box in the store so you can’t look at the disc or manual without breaking the seal which affects the ability to return the game. The game was scratched up (most other stores in the area will resurface upon inventory intake) and the manual was missing.
The game was cheap enough that I’ll just accept the loss but I think the way they conduct business with their sealing is bizarre and deceitful. They have games for high price points and I only hope the information they put on those labels are accurate. There’s no positive reason to hide the condition of the game from the consumer. Even on eBay they’ll show pictures of the back of the disc. Not worth the gamble shopping here.
Edit: I’m revising this review to a 1 star based on the nasty response. I left this review so the store can improve- not to be called names. Maybe if you learned to accept criticism instead of name calling people who have had bad experiences the store wouldn’t be constantly empty and inventory wouldn’t sit stale for years. Good luck.

Great little place and everyone there is so helpful and knowledgeable. You know you're getting treated fairly and it's always a pleasure to do business with them! Recently, I was in need of some Switch gear and it wasn't more than a day and half before there was a package on the porch.

We have worked with Boom Boom Games in the past both on a professional and personal level (for my collection) and I can honestly say that you won’t find a better video game store out there. The selection is amazing including many rare pieces even I didn’t know were out there. The staff treats you like family and I know they have thousands of happy customers worldwide. I rarely do a review under my business name to protect my own, but take it for what it’s worth in that they’re a reputable and fair place to conduct transactions with. I highly recommend!

THE shop to go to. It's pretty frustrating when customers don't have any patience and write negative reviews. This shop is awesome. The staff is awesome. The inventory is awesome. Their trade in prices are awesome. Highly recommended!

This shop does it right. Great selection of games goes without saying. But the accessories they have, especially first party controllers, put it above any game store I’ve been to. And everything is priced fairly unlike some shops that try to charge a nostalgia tax
