Mixed feelings.
The first technician that came out, misdiagnosed the problem with my washer.
I decided not to go ahead with the repair as it would have been $700-800 . On reflection I decided to go ahead as it was still cheaper that buying new. The second technician rediagnosed the problem and this time it was much cheaper.
The final technician installed the new part and I am delighted to say my washer is working fine now.
All in all I am pleased with the outcome.
However , I do find it annoying that you don’t get to speak to a real person when you call. It can be frustrating trying to explain to an automated system certain aspects to your individual problem.

Tech was able to tell us the model # and part# we needed. Unfortunately, the parts are not available through Sears anymore. But that was further than we got after hours of scouring the internet trying to find the model# because it had worn off the plate. So we were able to find the part on Amazon.

Great job. He was there twice. The first time he figured out the problem right away and ordered the part. 2nd time was there for 15 minutes and fixed it. Had 3 other guys show up and not fix it.

Horrible service & experience. I've booked service repair 2 times and both service repair guys did not come. One of them called to say that they can't do a job in 15 minutes and can't come.

It’s been over 3 weeks still no refund. Very frustrating to get in touch with a real person. I canceled my appointment and fixed the fridge by myself and still am waiting for my refund.

I am very dissatisfied though with Sears protection plan on the whole.

After 15 minutes the tech came to the conclusion I needed parts, some not available. But would I be interested in a service plan. I asked why if parts aren't available.He stated they would look harder for parts needed.
I got scammed for $139. Last time

The Sears Appliance repairman showed up on time and diagnosed the problem with my washer very quickly. After some conversation I felt it was a fix I could handle myself but I will definitely use Sears again in the future when the need arises.
