Rosie keeps her shop spotless. She's been doing hair for decades and has never given me a bad color, cut, and style. It's a great friendly atmosphere, and the prices can't b beat. I recommend Rosetta's to all my friends.

I went there recently. The salon was filthy. It smelled like I was sitting in a bottle of perm solution. I asked the owner what it would cost for a wash and blow dry. SHe was very rude. She didn't even get up to speak to me. From the far side of the salon she said, "I have no idea." I would not recommend that anyone go there.

I went here on my mom's recommendation and we both cried after my hair was butchered by Rosetta, the owner and sole employee. I had (key word had) curly hair. I even showed Rosetta a picture of the EXACT cut I wanted. A little more than chin length (which would have been taking about 6ins of curly hair off to begin with), with some large chunky bangs, angled longer in the front and lots of layers. What I got was a grandma hair cut that was no more than 2ins long at its longest. The whole time she was totally distracted since she has no secretary or no other stylists. She was answering the phone, making other appointments and generally not paying attention to what she was doing. I wear glasses, which I obviously can't have on during a hair cut. My mother left for a few and when she came back my hair was GONE so neither of us were able to say anything to stop the butchering in progress. She didn't seem to notice that she gave me a totally different hair cut than I had asked for and seemed generally pleased with my lack of hair and the large amount of hairspray she used to give me crunchy spider bangs. I've never had a bad hair cut in my life and this hair cut, 3 months later, has me still fuming over the absolute disregard over what I asked for and how terrible my hair STILL looks. I never went back or called to complain or ask for my money back because I was so mortified with how I look.
