I've been very impressed with the customer service. Jim carries a great selection of kites and kite gear. We purchased the 13 foot Rainbow Bol and can't wait to get out to the beach to fly it.

They are actively taking online orders (despite what the Google listing says). Great selection of kites at great prices, and I appreciate the YouTube videos showing what the kites look like in action. The owner called me shortly after I placed an order for party kits because he wanted to make sure they got here in time for our party. Great customer service.

Owner advertises products on his site as "in stock" when he's drop shipping them from China. Ordered a $600 kite from him advertised as 'in stock' only to wait two weeks and heard nothing. Turns out he was having it "custom made" in China. He then became belligerent when I corrected him the product was listed as "in stock", resulting in a screaming match. He did refund my money. I'm a purchaser for a living and know this game. I could have ordered directly from China and saved money, but I decided to give a domestic business a break, so I don't appreciate his false advertising. Avoid this guy unless you cant get the product from Amazon or Into The Wind. Just another East Coast hustler.

They are actively filling online orders, but the brick & mortar shop is closed. They have a great assortment of kites at a good price, and I appreciate the YouTube videos showing what the kites look like in action. The owner contacted me shortly after I purchased some party kits because he wanted to make sure they got to us in time for the party. Terrific customer service!

Maybe they are an OK shop in person. They are not on top of their internet sales game. Do not recommend. Placed an order Sept. 5. Heard nothing by Sept. 17 so I replied to the confirmation email. Never got a reply, but a few days later, I got a shipping notification. Got a package with a packing list date of Sept. 21, and only half the order was included, along with a note stating that my card would be credited within 10 business days if I had not received the rest of the order. Guess what? No items, no response to my inquiries, and no credit card refund as of October 9.

I would give zero Stars if it was an option. Be very wary of fun with wind kite shop in North Andover Ma. Huge rip off. I ordered a kite on 5-18-20 for my grandsons birthday. Paid for and never got the item. I have emailed owner multiple times about my order and response 2 weeks in was it shipped and tracking number shortly. Never got a tracking number or my item. I'm now having to go look for a new present 3 days before his birthday. I asked if I could pay on line and come direct to store for curbside pick up, when he refused and said it had to ship, I should have known something was not right. Now I'm dealing with filing a report with North Andover police, getting my credit card company to reverse his charge and return to my card the money he ripped me off of and contacting better business bureau about him.

Bought a kite from them, but they never delivered. After about 3 weeks I started trying to contact them. I tried via email, phone, their own online customer service, and through PayPal, but I never got any response. The phone went directly to the voice mailbox of the owner, Jim, but I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. It's been 5 weeks now with no kite and no communication. The only good news is that I paid with PayPal, so I'm filing a claim and hoping that PayPal will be able to return my payment.

Bought a kite from this website. The item never shipped. After 3 weeks I started trying to get in contact with them by phone, email, through their online customer service desktop, and through *****l. Never got any response. The phone line went to what sounded like the personal voicemail of someone named Jim, but I couldn't leave a message because the mailbox was full. Luckily I bought with *****l. I've filed a claim and will hopefully eventually get my money back through them.... Read More

My father ordered 3 kites a week ago and paid extra for priority shipping. All he got was an email confirmation that they received the order. He ordered these so he could have fun with the grandkids who are in town and are now leaving tomorrow. When he called customer service today they told us that one of the kites was on back order and they were holding the whole order until that kite came in. The representative my father spoke to said they had emailed to let us know that the order was delayed. They did not. Then offered to refund my father's money instead of making the situation right because my father "didn't sound like a very nice person" and they didn't want to deal with him anymore. Yes, my father was a little disappointed but he wasn't being disrespectful he just said that they needed to work on their communication with customers.

I'm so happy to find "Fun With Wind". I finally have a great source for kite parts. I brought two stunt kites back to life, after giving up on ever finding specific parts. I can highly recommend them and I found customer service to be friendly and helpful. Great website, products and prices.

The owner is very noligable and helpful hooked me up with parts from a yard sale kite flys awsome my kids love it. Hooked the kids with there own set me up with easy flyers. Thank you for all your help.. looking to get more the owner makes kite flying fun again..

Horrible experience. My order was placed and approved 5/26 and STILL hasn't shipped. I cancelled today. Hoping I will receive a prompt refund. Extremely discouraged. This is the company we ordered the kite thru.
