“I had my second enjoyable stay at The Porches. Things I like: walk to MassMOCA, walk to town, welcome note and yummy cookies waiting for me as a return guest, bathrobes, a comfy chair and ottoman, amazing shower, lots of tv channels with channel guide, fun retro kitschy decorations (granny chic as they call it), breakfast included (and especially the grapefruit with grapefruit spoons!). Thanks for a great stay!”
“We enjoyed the pool and picnic areas. Nice breakfast eaten outside each morning.
Rooms: The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Hope to visit again.
Nearby activities: We enjoyed The Cascade Trail, The Clark, and Mt. Greylock.
Food & drinks: We recommend Olympia restaurant (walking distance), Water Street Grill, and Moonlight Diner and Grille.”

“We were celebrating New Years eve! The host and staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming. Our server was very nice, honest, open and fun. The four us started with some small plates which we shared and enjoyed. A great selection. Each of us had a different entrée which each of us enjoyed. We were not rushed through and the timing of the service was great.”

“Quaint little motel located across from a the wonderful food cooperative and just down the road from an expansive park and greenway trail. The rooms are small but well appointed and the beds are very comfortable. There is a microwave and mini fridge, and television with cable TV. The owners are wonderful and so helpful with questions about the area.
Rooms: Small but designed to optimize space and utility
Nearby activities: Hiking, biking, museums and dining/shopping
Safety: Extremely safe
Walkability: Short walk to shopping and parks”
“I stayed a Bascom Lodge in a bunk the night before a hike up Greylock. I really enjoyed my experience. The lodge was well run with tasty food, engaging events, and beautiful nature/history. Monique was particularly inviting and accommodating.
The one suggestion I would have is to add a fan to the bunk room to help with white noise for sleeping!”
“Hotel is well set back off the main road so there is no noise from the street or surrounding area. There is plenty of parking.
Their best Jewel is their housekeeping staff always smiling face eager to help.
Breakfast is complimentary as usual Fairfield has it.Staff at the hotel are friendly and respectful;
Outdoor fire pit is awesome with mountain view such a peacefull. This was definitely a favorite of the hotel for my group.
Swimming pool and hot tub are indoors but haven't get time to use.
The hotel room TV was a smart TV so we could stream was big plus.
Overall the hotel and room were extremely clean and well cared for. Highly recommend staying at this hotel.”
“The outside may look a bit weird , but the inside is all that matters. The bed is so comfy and just the right temperature unlike some hotels. Their bathroom and outside were also very clean. ?
Rooms: The room is a great place and when you step out of it, your welcomed by the outside!?️?
Nearby activities: There are restaurants right across from it!
Safety: If there's a fire, it's very easy to get to the bottom floor.?
