It gets busy here because of the high school down the street but it hasn't impacted their service. One morning in a rush, I ordered my coffee and sandwich at a neighboring location by accident and the newtonville staff so kindly made both my coffee and sandwich in spite of the mistake without charge. Have frequented here over the last years as I work across the street but this act of kindness truly made my week.

This Starbucks was great except for the herd of middle schoolers that stampeded in after school. Do not come here around 3pm on a school day. Especially if you are trying to work or make a call.

I gave this particular Starbucks store a 3rd chance as it has a long history of certain employees who work their treating their customers as if they are scum. And that is particularly concerning as they get a lot of customers from the nearby Newton North high school. So some of these adults are treating minors like trash. It's just wrong.But I decided to give it another chance after almost a year of staying away out of a desire not to be treated like a second class citizen. But this time they managed to fail miserably again. There was only one employee working behind the counter this afternoon, as the other was busy making a nuisance of himself pretending to clean up the place. But the table tops remained dirty. He seemed nice enough, but when I ordered a Ham and Cheese croissant to go along with my coffee. He said, "ok", but then a wry smile came across his face and he told me he "had to check if we have any left".After opening the fridge and not even bothering to look, he came back and told him "So sorry, we're out". I said ok and after getting my coffee, sat down to do some work. After about an hour or so, I smelled something familiar. Ham and cheese, fresh from the oven and the very distinct smell of a croissant. I looked and sure enough, there was a Ham and Cheese croissant that someone else had ordered, right on the counter, 5 feet away from me.I decided not to say anything as I think this employee behind the counter is a complete sociopath. This place is screaming for a union, as I think management puts this neer do wells in place just to scare other employees into not unionizing. Anyway, if I'm feeling masochistic, I guess I'll go back someday.

Es increíble la cantidad de errores que tienen en esta tienda hay mucha prioridad a los clientes que frecuentan este local., mi orden solo Hera un café y un sándwich y espere por más de 20 minutos al ver que todos los que avían ordenado después de mi se avían ido pregunté por mi orden y tuvieron el descaro de todavía preguntarme cuál Hera mi orden

Ok.... I orders a Grande Latte with Skim milk and a croissant.. Guess how long that took... 40 minutes. 40 minutes I was waiting for a latte and and a croissant. Horrible service. I asked them 5 times about my order and they kept saying "hold on I'll be with you in a minute." Now that I think about it, all my times at Starbucks I've always gotten my order 30-60minutes after I order it. This unacceptable. Even their next door neighbor, Café Nero who takes their time to make orders are still faster than Starbucks. And the decor... It just doesn't make sence. There use to be trash mine and napkins you could get in the middle of the room. Now, it's replaced my merchandise... Fix this please. I mean, it's pretty convenient but still. Also, the food isn't even that good.

Just ordered a refresher. They gave me plain lemonade so I asked them to fix it. All was well until the employee decided to slam the drink on the counter and walked away - all because she had to fix it.

I don't know what was happening with the staff this day. I ordered an iced coffee, they're putting ice from a cooler into the drink and at the same time waiting for the manager to come in so they could show how bad it was. He told her to stop and went and got a big bucket of hot soap water to pour into the ice chest. In the meantime she tried to give me the cold drink with the nasty ice in it.This is after I had stood there for five or so minutes after placing my order with nobody else in the store and nothing really happening. The manager had been back in the back working to his credit.He's not being helped by the two knuckleheads he had working up there at the front

Every time I go they mess my order up so bad. They changed my name completely and the coloring in my drink weren't there so I couldn't identify my order anyway

Busiest Starbucks I Have Ever SeenThe go to place for many students and pet parents, and star market customers. School districts have been the biggest beneficiary of the store. Mobile orders were stacked like crazy and staff was super able to deliver the orders.My experience was very good, and as summer approached the demand for lemonades were off the roof.Parking is available opposite the store in Start Market Parking lot for 2 hours and paid street parking was also available.Pets Friendly due to the outside seating area, saw many people getting puppy-chino cups for their pets. The area is beautiful and full of mom and pop eatery and personal care stores.Worth a visit this summer, enjoy the sun and weather.

The wait times and accuracy of the orders were terrible. I waited for 15 min for my $27 order. My kids got their fancy drinks after these 15 min wait. I can accept it when things are busy but the store was empty when I arrived and filled up a bit during the wait. They forgot my 'simple' cappuccino and the 'ready to pick' lemon pound cake. Upon inquiry after 20 min, they informed me they were out of pound cake; nobody notified me. And then she walked away and -again- forgot about my cappuccino. The personnel seems generally unhappy and somewhat grumpy. They drop drinks down on the receive counter with the labels pointing away from the customers and mostly don't call out names. I have noticed the same in other Starbucks locations, namely the one in Auburndale Newton. Starbucks is getting worse and worse around Newton, MA. I am done with them.
