Great communication via text messages and email before I made it to the rental counter. At the rental counter, David was clear, concise, and professional. He also noticed that I had my return time at around 3am instead of pm, and made a point to confirm. He made the changes to a pm return quickly, then gave me clear directions to location that I could pick up my car. Downstairs at the pick-up lot, the attendants there were professional, efficient, and kind. The BMW 325i was clean, and fresh, and was a fantastic car to drive to Harvard, then around Cape Cod. All of the gadgets were a great perk. Returning the car was a breeze. The return attendant was clear, concise and professional. All around a great experience. I will be renting from Sixt everytime it is an option.

Rented from them From Friday, October 25 through Sunday, October 27, Picked up the car with Sales Associate. Went smoothly went to customer pick up to receive the keys asked the lady to go over the car with me. She politely said that’s not our policy. However, you can go over and get into the car. You’re all set to go . I Always check the car. Since there was no damage, I thought OK great let’s go. My two adult passengers agreeded. Drove the car maybe 99 miles parked in garages and paid good money so no one Would possibly ding My rental on my watch. Turned it in at their offsite location closest to the train station. Upon arrival, it was a crowded garage in the basement of a hotel. No one was there to Greet me to check the car over nor to get my keys. I tracked down the gentleman that was washing the cars who told me leave your car right here next to the sign and I will move it after I’m done here. I have to clean it. He was a An employee So I took one last look around the car, removed our luggage and went to the train station. Later that day I received an invoice for my rental thanking me for being a customer . Two days later, they sent me a email with two close-up pictures stating that there was a scratch deeper than allowed, a scraped rim, and bumper damage. It didn’t even look like the car that I rented. I explained to them that when I received the car and when I returned it, there was no damage, just finding out now through reviews and Better Business Bureau that they have a pattern of doing this. They have met their match. I will be forwarding this to my attorney. Be aware people it’s not their first time research before renting with them. Deeper than a Google review.

Excellent!!! Do not rent a car before leaving home. The on-site experience is much better, the staff are perfectly helpful and there are always incredible cars available.

Do your employees enjoy their job?
It seems like the last thing they want to do is help customers they like to chit chat and joke while customers are waiting patiently please re evaluate the way the employees act

I’ve been renting with SIXT whenever I travel because I like their cars. I almost always get an X5. When I arrived I was told there were no X5s left and that I had to wait an hour or go with a sedan or an X7. I got the X7 but they charged me an extra $300. If you do not have the car that I reserved you should be able to upgrade me for free. After a few phone calls, I ended up getting reimbursed but this should not have been a problem from the beginning.

Jared was very professional, informed. polite and provided clearly explained options without making us feel like we were being sold to. We would have no hesitation to recommend Sixt and the overall experience was excellent - the only negative being the lack of vehicle knowledge on pick up of vehicle which devalued the driving experience significantly.

My first time using this place. My first time in Boston. Online I rented a BMW 2 series. Upon arrival, I was told that they don't have a BMW 2 series. I was told I would be beginning a Volvo S60. He can tell that I was displeased by this. But I knew it didn't have much of an option so I said that's fine. He then tells me that if I prefer to have a BMW I can upgrade and get the BMW X1. It's an SUV. And then he tried a really sell it by saying it's bigger and I would have more space etc. I was here on business and even though I was not paying for this rental I told him no thanks. He then went on and try to upsell me some more. I told him no thanks again. We moved on. Then he brought it back up and pointed out to me that it would only be $130 more. I told him no thanks. I will stick with the Volvo. Then as I'm getting ready to check out, he tells me if you look at the price differences you will see that The Volvo cost me $1,140 whereas the BMW X1 would only be $1,280. I told him that's $140 difference and that's more than when I said no the third time, so no thanks again. Then he tells me I should get an easy pass for the toll road. I told him no thanks. He said am I sure. I said yes I am sure. He then set up will you be traveling out of town. I told him I would be going to Andover. So I was leaving Boston to Andover and working in New Hampshire. He then told me well then I recommend you getting a transponder at the very lease. I told him no thanks. He started fearmongering telling me well you better avoid the toll road do you plan on going around it? I said yes I'll go around it. He said are you sure? I said yes I'll go around it. He said well make sure you do because if you don't they'll charge you $14. I said thanks. My navigation app has an option to avoid toll roads. But then checked out. I forgot to check the avoid toll roads option on my navigation app. But that did not matter because I did not run into any toll roads as he threatened me with. The experience just felt really salesy and they were really pushy. And at the end of the day I didn't even get the car that I rented online.
