“I recently moved and needed my cat to be seen for her asthma problems. I called and they were able to do a drop-off appointment the next day. I was running late for this appointment and they still made time for me and my cat and I were seen right away. My cat was seen by the vet named Erin and she was very thorough in explaining treatment options for my cat, she even went out of her way to print me some extra references for treatment options. I really liked this office and will return in the future for my cats needs.”

“Has the best customer service I've ever experienced with a vet. My cat was recently diagnosed with stage 2 chronic kidney disease. They have been beyond helpful in answering all my questions, telling me which food to switch him to and what care he will need. They turned my panic about this diagnoses to a calm. Really happy I decided to take my cats to this vet. 100% recommend them.”

“My cat Buddy had some scary experiences at local area vets where they actually harmed him and he developed GI issues due to the stress of their insensitive handling, and he became terrified of vet visits. Luckily, I've discovered BetterVet mobile vets and they are awesome. Our current vet is Dr. Peter Gollub and he is wonderful! In addition to being a very smart & skilled vet, he's kind, patient, and understanding of my cat's nervousness. He and the staff he arrives with always take their time talking with us and going over any and all concerns, and he's very gentle and "calming" with Buddy. He's the only vet who was able to get Buddy to approach him to eat treats from his hand. Also, the online service is quick and easy to use, and I always get a response from them immediately when I use the online chat feature. Highly recommended!”
“One of my cats is super aggressive and gets turned away at vets but the vets here did a great job at handling her with care and made us feel supported. They were able to give her vaccines and bloodwork while allowing me to distract her.”
“Doctor Binder is truly amazing! Her compassion and kindness for her patients goes beyond words I could explain. She talks to them as if they were her own. She is very honest and will not do unnecessary testing without discussing all pros and cons first. I travel over 30 minutes to bring my cats and dog to her. The staff in the office are so nice and overall the most perfect vet office in my opinion. The one or two times I urgently had to bring my cat in and Dr Binder wasn’t there, the other vet in the office was just as kind. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.”

“We love City Cats! We've gone there for a few years now, and the staff has always been kind and helpful. We actually moved to the South Shore but still keep our appointments with City Cats, because they're that good. Dr. Palopoli and the other staff are so caring and I've always found the whole practice transparent in terms of pricing and test options. I've never felt 'taken advantage of' like I have in the past at other practices. Highly recommend :)”
“NEVER have I EVER seen a vet being so invested, so thorough, so caring about my dog. I am in awe..I came here for a second opinion for my dogs health issue, before simply accepting what my original vet said, and man am I glad I did. Dr Levine went above & beyond to make sure that he had researched ALL options before letting my dog undergo surgery, and guess what? He doe not necessarily need surgery - Dr Levine had alternatives, very well thought out alternatives that he carefully discussed eith me, and I just could not be happier! Thank you!!”
“My dog gets extremely anxious with vet appointments. He needs lots of calming meds and a muzzle. The radiologist that took him in for his ultrasound was fantastic! We were unsure our dog would be able to do it given his anxiety but she was able to get it done and he happily came back out to us with her saying he did great. She clearly knew how to meet his needs and was very understanding! Thank you!”
“Pinto is a very sweet dog with very high anxiety around veterinary treatment, specifically onset during the COVID pandemic. Back Bay Veterinary Clinic -- and Dr. Graham in particular -- has been SO wonderful in working with us to figure out the best way to make sure he is calm and comfortable so that he can get the care he needs! I recommend Back Bay Vet to ALL of my friends with pets, but especially anyone with a ~* special *~ dog like Pinto.”
“I found this place because I had been going to the same Brookline vet group for 17 years and it has steadily been going downhill but I was loyal and don’t like change. When my dog became really sick - I had to find a place that was organized, calm & competent to try and save my dogs life. Ultimately, lily passed away but the wonderful care she received & the kindness that was shown to me was like night and day compared to my previous vet. I can’t believe I waited so long to switch to a different vet / practice. Thank you chestnut hill for doing everything you could for Lilly & I. The receptionist/administrator, vet techs & veterinarians were so nice to us during a very sad and stressful time.”
“I moved to Boston in June 2023 and was referred to South Bay by our dog walker. From the beginning we have found the team and veterinarians to be compassionate, responsive and skilled on their care of our two dogs. Recently our 12 year old retriever mix has had health issues and I’m sad to say that yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to euthanize her. Dr Baker was so incredibly kind and patiently talked us through options, gave us privacy to make the decision, and allowed us to gather the family to be with our beloved dog as she crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to have had this support during this sad time and going forward to care for our other dog.”

“My dog has been seen here several times and I feel she receives good, thorough care. Recently her typical vetrinarian couldn't see her so we saw the other one, Dr Henry. She was wonderful. I love a vet that gets down on the floor just to say hello. They recommended a course of action, ran the proposed invoice by me, and I left feeling well taken care of. It might be a little pricey but we have pet insurance so I always go with the recommended plan. The only drawback is that it always takes a long time. Plan for a longer visit than expected.”

“Had a routine checkup for my dog, where he also got some shots. The office and exam rooms were both very clean. The vet and vet tech were so kind and caring of my pup, he was in great hands the whole time. They also provided me with useful information about heartworm and flea/tick medication that I asked for as well. Very good experience, would recommend!”
“Dr. D'esopo at Wolf's Animal Medical Center is the best vet we've gone to. We have a reactive GSD who is nervous with the vet and they always make accommodations for us. We have been very happy with them and would recommend to anyone.”

They always were able to get my babies in when I needed. Most importantly I felt comfortable, and confident with the care my dogs received. Prices-all vets are expensive. I highly recommend them!”
“Our sweet boy had an amazing experience here. I’m so glad we found Dedham Vet. We had a very traumatizing experience at our previous vet where they mishandled our boy (force holding him down and dragging him by the collar) not once but twice which resulted in him being completely fearful of going back in. It turns out we just needed the right team of compassionate people who truly care. Tiffany and Dr Bolduc took their time with us and everything went completely smooth. We’ve been here a few times now and every staff member I’ve interacted with has been nothing short of wonderful. We can’t wait to be back in a few months for our next visit. :)”

“We were very happy with Dr. Chelsea. She had obviously spent time reviewing our questionnaire and listened to our concerns attentively. She thoroughly answered all our questions and explained the reasons behind her recommendations clearly. Everyone was great! The woman who checked us in was very accommodating. Slider seemed to have a rude fascination with Rita (I hope I'm remembering her name correctly), yet she was nonplussed and handled it well. As I mentioned, Dr. Chelsea was fabulous. And two other staff members even pitched in at the end to corral Slider when he attempted a jail break. Overall, the vibe was very calm and welcoming.”

“My family been using adams for forever and I been bring my animals for 25 years. And I had to recently put one of mine down at the emergency vet on Cabot and never told them about it. And they still went out of their way to send a card and hand wrote a whole big letter about my baby and wishing my family and I their condolences. “I didn't put a review at the time my eldest cat was being cared for here, but Boston Animal Hospital took wonderful care of my now passed cat that I had for almost 14 years. She was very temperamental, particular, and hated going to the vet. BAH was great at creating a calmer environment and anticipating our visits by calling and being able to schedule picking up gabapentin for my easily distressed cat. They helped us when she was diagnosed with diabetes and through the progression of the disease. They were so hospitable and caring when she passed away and gave me space to spend with her after her final moments. It is an animal hospital that can accommodate more fickle, distressed cats and I'm glad that we found BAH.”
