Was having trouble with USPS website so went in person. No line and guy working was super helpful with best shipping option and super patient when I clicked the wrong buttons when declaring contents, credit card machine. Pleasant experience!

I hadn’t shipped a package in quite a few years and today went in with a couple questions and offered to do any and everything I needed back at home to properly prepare my package, and come back after I finished. The woman at the counter was shockingly rude for no reason despite in the end helping me, although through the entirety of the interaction seemed that she did not want to be there, but she also clearly did not care for helping anybody who was unfamiliar with shipping a package… considering it’s her only job you would assume she’d be accustomed to this, apparently not. I’ll stick to making my own printing labels from now on and won’t be returning to this USPS location.

I just had a really bad experience with this office. Yesterday I attempted to drop off the return package, which is a long tube of fishing rod, as instructed by Amazon. They refused to take it because if weighs > 5 Lbs for a first-class shipment and asked me to get an appropriate label. I spoke with buyer who sent me a priority slip today. And I went back to this office, again they refused to take it because of the length, and asked me to send it to newton center USPS store. It is very frustrating and does not make sense if other location will take it why cannot this store take it! This is ridiculous!

I came to this post office to send package internationally on November 16, 2020. The bold man in service was very rude. He was acting like I bothered him while he was watching tv (indeed he was watching tv). I didn't want he messed up my sending, so decided not do with him any service. It's very unfortunate that post office holds so incompetent workers...

I order several items online and they always seem to wind up here before their ultimate destination. The location of this USPS is relatively convenient, close to the Newton Highlands T stop. I have called them a couple of times and they have not been extremely helpful when tracking down a package that is supposedly here. However, I have also stopped by here in person to mail out a package to a friend and the woman behind the counter was very helpful in finding the right size box for me to send out and creating a tracking code for the item. The location is extremely small so I can imagine it is frustrating to wait in a long line for the people ahead of you.

I very rarely give bad reviews, but I have to agree with the person who described the customer service here as "deplorable." I sent a request online in mid-August requesting for my mail to forward starting September 1st. Apparently to them, that means forward immediately. In case you're not aware, when your mail is forwarded but not accepted at the other end, it goes into Boston for several days before returning to your local post office and then being correctly delivered. The clerks working here took a solid 20 minutes to get that across to me, after not listening to what I was asking for and passing me off between to people. The next day, I called the manager and he was very rude, and informed me there was no way to get my mail any faster, despite the fact that I was awaiting several paychecks and other important items. The whole experience was so frustrating and they were not the least bit apologetic, even though it was their mistake.

Small post office with most services. Easy street parking. Unusual to wait in line. Street metered parking.
