“This is the second time Ive used Oscars. They showed up on time, they moved fast and carefully to wrap my furniture, they were careful with loading my property on the truck, and they handled 3 flights of stairs like a champion with all my stuff. All for quite a reasonable overall price. They even managed to put back together a bed that some other movers had crack/screwed up so badly I thought it was basically a loss. I learned my ****** from those other crappy movers that cracked my bed frame and gouged my walls and floors. If I ever have to move again, Im calling Oscars. ”

“These are the people to hire for your move! I first worked with them last year when I moved out of my studio apartment in Newton. They were really responsive, and had the most competitive rate out of all the other companies I had contacted. They arrived right on time with two guys, who did a great job of packing everything up. I hadn't yet packed up my kitchen, and they were able to do that for me! It really took the stress out of the moving process. Additionally, I ended up having some extra things at a friend's place that I wanted to add to my storage - they were super accomodating and were able to add it to my existing storage with just a few emails - even though I was already in a different country. I recommended them to a friend, who also said these were the best movers she had ever hired in her life - as a lone woman, she felt very safe alone with these movers (which is both huge and rare!). I couldn't recommend them more!”

They sent two movers and a big truck, arrived exactly at the time they informed me before (they also called me 15min ahead letting me know that they are coming). After quickly checking out the condition of the apartment, they went straight into the work -- wrapped everything up very carefully and efficiently. “This was an exceptional experience, with professionals at every step being skilled, knowledgeable and also incredibly efficient. From the first phone call, to the follow up on person home visit to assess the scope of work, this was so well done.On moving day Rudy and the crew showed up, in late March, during one of those really fun snow days we came to love. Normally, this isn’t a problem, they were so good at moving things with no issues to the truck and bringing it to the new home. Here’s where experience pays off… unknown to us the road with the new home has had issues with paving- the city misses it routinely. Turning onto the street you go down a hill, and we nearly hit the snow bank at the bottom. The moving crew was able to safely land the moving truck in the snow bank and make their way down the slippery road.Once at the house they were so fast at unloading things and always checked in about where something should go if it was a large rug or furniture item.Trust makes the difference between professionals and anyone running ads on CL so very clear. Their services include day of move packing, they make this process as quick as can be and takes a lot of the pressure off if you.The pricing was a deal, so I can’t recommend them enough.Props to the owner for running such great company, and to Rudy and the crew for making this happen, even under less than desired circumstances”

In particular, Nicole, the rep assigned to me, went above and beyond to give me additional advice on movers, and what to look out for in other more scammy movers, or brokers. While I cannot speak directly to their moving service, the customer service is truly remarkable. They have an A+ BBB rating, and I sure they would have done a great job with my move if I would have gone with them.”
