This is the best bank account I have. Where my other two major banks, just fee me on overdrafts, Rockland Branch actually calls me if I have a pending check and not enough cash at the moment to cover. The branch has neve been without someone to help you immediately, with a smile

Pandemic unemployment assistance does not exist according to Rockland trust’sAssistant manager Deborah____________The assistant manager at the Newtonville location first name Deborah told me this evening she’s never heard of pandemic unemployment assistance and told me she thought my brother getting a deposit from the federal government was fraud, especially because my mother with the same last name was getting money also she thought we were tied up in some conspiracy to steal money I showed her the pandemic unemployment assistance PUA login online with my mothers name and my brothers name She still thought it was fraud Instead of waiting to talk to my brother she reported the money to the fraud department as fraudulent and still claimed that pandemic unemployment assistance never existed, so I got on the phone with another branch in a different city and they said no that is not right everybody knows about pandemic unemployment assistance , they took my information down and they’re working on it currently, The manager I was speaking with put up with my hostility because I was fuming and assured me he would get to the bottom of this. For the most part Rockland trust has been great to me and my family with the exception of one individual DEBORAH! The only thing I can think of is she hates Military Veterans I am a Veteran and so is my mother... Rest assured Deborah we will get to the bottom of this My brother was waiting six months for this money had his court hearing to confirm his identity And now that Money is going back to sender, Rockland trust I’m so disappointed Every other branch I walk into people are Greeted with smiles and common courtesy. You won’t get that at 40 Austin St., Newton, MA Rockland trust.

One of the worst I've seen. For a company that is supposedly so good customer friendly and yet so very shallow to there employees. I walk in wanting to open an account and immediately walked out. The branch was empty. The employees huddled in the right corner to the stairs. As one gentleman walks out I ask him "what happened?" His response was he was let go for taking an extra 5 minutes of a lunch break in a already empty branch. He explained the entire situation on what happened. From what he has explained to me something doesn't add up about this company. Banking here is now a hard NO

Remember Mayberry RFD? Leave it to Beaver? Banking with Rockland is like stepping back in time, to a warmer, friendlier America, where our neighbors worked in our local businesses and knew us by name. When I walk into my 2 Rockland branches in Brookline and Newton, the tellers greet me by name and I return the courtesy - they are charming, gracious, intelligent and consummate professionals. I have a warm professional relationship with the Brookline bank manager who goes out of his way to let his customers know that Rockland is always looking for charitable giving opportunities, and he has followed up with the introductions I have made.
