I stopped in here on a stormy day after finding a screw in my tire. The crew plugged my tire and had me back on the road in 20 minutes. They were kind and helpful.

These folks are AMAZING. Thanks so much to John for doing the investigative work to find a pesky 1.5" screw jammed into my tire. It's been slow leaking for a week or so and I couldn't figure out why. It's patched up all nice and doing great.Just great people, great shop, and a great gas station.

Highest possible rating. I've used J&S Mobil for 12 years for several different cars. They are *scrupulously* honest. Because of the many # of times that they have told me *not* to spend my money, I have 100% complete trust when they tell me that I *do* need to fix something, and never question that they are overcharging. I trust them more than some of my doctors.

Highest possible rating. I've used J&S Mobil for 12 years for several different cars. I mainly interact with John Coyle although sometimes Charlie and sometimes the older guy whose name I forget. I just happened upon them because I live nearby, but I would recommend them to *anyone*.The reason: they are *scrupulously* honest. There are times when they tell me, "You don't need to fix that; it's not worth the money. I wouldn't if it was my car." One time the Subaru dealer (whose service I would NOT recommend) told me the exhaust system needed to be completely replaced for several thousand dollars (I seem to recall $5k). I took it to John at J&S and he told me, "The whole system doesn't need to be replaced, just this one part ... I could do it for $1500, but frankly if I were you I'd take it to Lou's Custom Exhaust and they can probably do it for $400." (That's exactly what I did.) Because of the many # of times that they have told me *not* to spend my money, I have 100% complete trust when they tell me that I *do* need to fix something, and never question that they are overcharging. There are a few things in life I've gotten completely right. "Finding a good mechanic" is one of them.

We stopped to fill up gas and a really nice mechanic came up and said to come into the shop and he would fill up our tires (they were low) and gave us a check over for free! He just wanted us to he save on the road.

It's kind of odd to leave a review of a gas station, but honestly, this is my favorite gas station in the area. They are always helpful. If you don't have quarters and need to fill up your tires with air, they'll turn it on for free for you. Basically it's just a nice place with nice people.
