I've been shopping at this Madewell for about a year now as I live nearby and love their clothing. Today I went in to look for a blazer and pants for a conference I'm going to in less than a week. Their associate, Marissa, was AMAZING. As I was trying things on, she gave her honest opinion about all the clothing combinations and was quick to provide me with other options. I found a pair of pants that was perfect except that they were too long. She suggested a petite and that she could order them online. When we figured out they were sold out online, she called multiple stores until she found one that had them in stock. From there, she was able to ship them to me overnight for free. Not to mention, I got a decent discount and a free candle for being a star status member. Thanks Marissa! Your attention to detail and persistence did not go unnoticed! :)

I bought a necklace and tried to return it less than 24 hours later and even though the necklace wasn’t damaged the packaging was cut with scissors very CLEANLY (it’s considered damaged) and now I have to deal with a $40 necklace that I have no idea what to do with because I couldn’t try it on in store. The manager was super unhelpful and rude and made me never want to shop at that stupid place again.

A necklace that was purchased less than a day ago would not be accepted for a return because the packaging was a little bit bent. The necklace is in perfect condition and needed to be returned because it did not fit properly. Management was rude and unhelpful. I will never be shopping here again.

Horrible customer service. Only shows attention to Caucasian individuals. Won't even turn their heads to say hello if you are of another race. More than 4 people work I the store and they all suck when it comes to customer service. All stuck up b***hes, no one even shops in the store anyways. Online has way better customer service and merchandise. Thanks for nothing Madewell at Chestnut Hill Mall...
