I needed 2 maxi-dresses shortened a few inches - they each cost $19.99. The nice man pinned one of the hems (both dresses were the same, different colors, so only one needed to be pinned). Once that was done, he told me they would be $45 each to hem. So I asked him to unpin them, I took them with me, and returned the dresses.I understand needing to make a living, but that pricing, to me, is waaaaay more than what it should be.

I brought in 1 short coat 1 jacket and 1 summer dress and was charged $72!!!! Shame on me for not asking how much before hand but I will never go back.

DO NOT GO HERE!!Let me start with the fact that I used to go here and used to be happy with their service... then they changed where they got things cleaned (they don’t do it on site, but that was never a problem as many places in the area don’t).The new provider PERMANENTLY ironed in a bright white name tag on four of my shirts ($120 each), effectively ruining the shirts as the placement of the label shows since the shirts are worn untucked.When I went to complain and ask how to get the label out, the person at the counter said she didn’t know, but that she would ask the owner to call me... guess who never called me!Meanwhile, I have moved away from the area, so even if the owner did call me, I wouldn’t have any recourse.

I'm new to town and was looking for a new dry cleaner. I visited their website before going down to the cleaners and found the workers in the shop didn't even know about or honor the website specials. I ended up walking around the corner to the competitor who seemed to be more straight forward and had slightly lower prices.

It's right across the parking lot and there are always plenty of space. It's the most convenient place in our neighborhood. The owner Nee is very friendly and did a good job. It's a reliable place. I highly recommend this shop.

I have taken my suits and wife’s dry cleaning to Lorraine dry cleaners for 6 years. This family owned dry cleaner has outstanding service and fair prices. Nee, the owner, will go above and beyond to make sure your dry cleaning is ready on time and how you like it (folded in boxes, on hangers etc) Staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and always greets me by name. If you are looking for the top dry cleaner in the Newton area, this is it! They also recycle your old hangers!!
