La Bella Hair Salon is like no other. The service is always excellent, consistent, and on point. It is always a warm and welcoming environment. Never have I ever experienced hate or negativity from anyone in that salon! I personally see Crystal because she has been cutting and styling my hair since I was in elementary school. I am now 22, so I have been with her for a very long time. She has never failed to make me satisfied with her work. This past year, I went through a dramatic hair transformation from brown to blonde. I wanted to do the transformation very slow, because I was so nervous of the change and damaging my hair. Crystal did an amazing job and understood and validated my feelings. Not ONCE did my hair ever feel dry, brittle, or break. I have always left La Bella Hair Salon, happy (smiling ear to ear), confident, and with so much gratitude towards Crystal and the other hair stylists. Also, the music is always such a vibe, I love listening and vibing out to everything that is played in that salon!

Very disappointing experience. I just don’t know why that for the price you pay in the US at the salons no one cares about service. Got coloring service here, won’t be back.
Pros:
1. Good location, easy to find parking
2. Spacious and bright
3. Scheduling online was easy
4. Hair came out decent color, but we’ll see what it looks like when the toner washes out
Cons:
1. Had to dry hair myself (?!) apparently not included within the time frame you booked. Did not bother me, but lady next to me was very upset as she wanted to get her hair dried by a professional to see what the cut and color would look like - makes sense. Since it’s self service do you tip yourself too?!
2. The cleanness of the salon is debatable, hair clumps all over the floor and the chair where I was sitting. Certainly not my hair!
3. Mesmerized by the stylist who managed to process two other people as I was sitting in her chair. She would do a few foils then go to the other client and do the same thing. Please note she did not wash hands, wear gloves or do any of that. How is this acceptable or even sanitary?!
4. Last but most annoying, stylist ruined my vest with bleach! I have been dying my hair for 25 years and I never had this happen before. She did not even put cape or towel on my shoulders when washing it. Very upset as it’s one of my favorite vests, I am so careful with all my stuff and now it’s ruined.
5. $240 ($280 with tip) is pretty hefty provided online system showed the price of $160. I get that there was toner + bang trim, but there should still be more pricing transparency.

I have been to numerous hair salons , and through a lot of different hairdressers, and never have I been as happy as I am with my hair now . Chelsi is one of the best and most talented in the industry ! Over the last 4 years I have seen a drastic difference in my hair . It is finally healthy, and growing to a length it never has before. I am no longer scared to get a haircut because I trust her completely to give me exactly what I want. I would not go anywhere else . Beautiful salon with some of the most friendly and knowledgeable staff . Always a great and relaxing experience ! I look forward to each and every one of my routine appointments at La Bella .

Kellie is amazing! I live in northern Vermont (4 hours away!), and I wait to get my haircut from her each time I am in the Boston area. She is very skilled with cutting curly hair with mixed curl patterns. I have been impressed every single time! Kellie is also genuine, thoughtful, and a lot fun to be around. I have been here twice now and just really like it. I am pretty particular about my hair and like going to really good salons. Tried this because close to home. I love the vibe. Not pretentious, inclusive, and they all do amazing work. We saw Jay who was fantastic. Nice, not pushy or judgmental (I had a home color mess). She did a beautiful job on my cut and we talked about how to do my color. Made another appointment before I left. There were guys, older women, moms, and trendy young women during my visit and it just felt like a neighborhood place but also super on point with latest styles. Highly recommend.

Crystal has been my hair stylist for over 5 years. She is competent and profesional and my hair is always beautiful when she is done and it last until next appointment. My hair has turned 70% white and Crystal does low lights every 6 months with great results .Services: Haircut

I've been coming here for almost 4 years and seeing Kellie. She is amazing and always makes me feel so fabulous! I have long thick wavy hair and she always gives me "Kardashian" hair vibes. I ask for natural balayage and she always gets the color perfect for me. My boyfriend just went and had his haircut with her after going through several poor hair cuts elsewhere. She did a great job with his hair too! Highly recommend!

I originally went to La Bella Salon looking to go fairly blonde, but wanted a blended root so I did not have any harsh lines in my hair/ would look as natural as possible. After the first appointment my hair color was fantastic but I had sharp demarcation lines about half an inch from my root. I went back for a touch up at no cost which was appreciated, however the hairdresser made it clear that it was miscommunication on my side that lead to me not being happy. Re-did the highlights around my face and still did not blend the root at all. Honestly, it looked worse than before. I reached out to the salon, which did give me a half refund, which I did appreciate. But I would have much more so preferred that my hair just got fixed.

I want to start by saying my hair looks pretty good, but it's not at all what I wanted. I showed a picture to my stylist and she said she understood what I wanted, which was a light/medium caramel base with blonde highlights and began dying my hair. My hair ended up a dark dark brown, which I assumed was to be used as a base for the highlights, but she never ended up lightening my hair. She also cut off about 1.5" of my hair after me telling her I maybe wanted 0.5-1" off and held it in her hand and asked if that was a good amount to have cut off. But, obviously, at that point it was too much. She also told me my hair was completely dead at the end and we "needed" to cut off that much, which was definitely not true because of careful I am with my hair. I also told her I wanted curtain bangs that would frame my face, but that wouldn't be too short. However, what I got were somewhat choppy bangs that aren't feathered out or anything and just stick out funny and are impossible to style. Overall I'm just really upset because what I got is not at all what I wanted, and I'm now having to find someone to fix it and spend even more money. The location of this salon was great for me but I'm extremely upset over the results of my hair.

I have had terrific hair cuts and color from Crystal and Kelly over many years. They are both very experienced and terrific at listening to what I want and making it happen. The salon is lovely and clean too. Highly recommended.Services: Haircut
