Rude from the start off and then the guy decided to raise his voice at me, his facial expressions was very rude also when I asked to speak to the manager he told me he was the manager, I asked him what his name was he said Johnathan, I said Johnathan what he said that’s all u need to know. RUDE is an understatement I’ve never been spoken to like this there was no need for it also I walked away I’ve shopped here many times and have never whiteness a reception like it I will be taking my business else where. Everything was too much for him did not want to help in no way, shape or form. I would like to say if he really is the manager he definitely needs to be dealt with, as this is unacceptable. Ps my advice is do not shop at this location!!!

Horrible location that routinely closes before 7:30pm. I went tonight (on a Tuesday) and it was closed before 7:30pm. The store hours list this store is open until 8pm, which is simply not true. There were 2 other customers along with me who were attempting to shop and they were also surprised to see that this store had closed early with no indication.

I love Janie and jack so much but this location i don't recommend! I spend so much money here and their front desk is very disappointed me. I bought something for my cousins daughter couple month ago and she told me she doesn't like couple things I bought for her, so I took them to return here. She saw the cloth in my bag and said it very loud in-front everyone that style is from last year. I'm like ok.. I got them when it was on sale. And she said it again and again they r very old style I'm pretty sure from last year. She kept give me the dirty look too. They were on sale how the hell I know which year u made them! People just kept looking at me that I'm cheap I can only afford sale item. I got them like only 3 month ago. I was going to do an exchange and I got so mad so I just wanted to return them. And she was like is very big size . I said I know I bought for my cousins daughter and she doesn't like them. ( also is not ur business!!!!)She was giving me that I look stupid face and said huhhh? She doesn't? And I said I was super busy had no time to return for her and she said they have a 90days return policy. I don't mind if I can't return them because I can just give it to someone else but this lady made me so embarrassed. Even when I leave she did not say have a nice day or anything. She was so rude the whole time. I have no idea what the f-- wrong with her. Maybe I'm Asian and she think every Asian is cheap? I shop a lot at Janie and jack but I got so upset from this customer service so I won't come to this location again. I don't need someone to treat me like that.

Of course, Janie & Jack clothes are beautiful & well made. Recently, the Chestnut Hill store hosted a new author to a reading / signing event. Cindy Lawler & her staff are warm & friendly. Cindy ordered themed capes for the young readers to get excited about the main character Satya.

Nice children's store in the Chestnut Hill mall. Beautiful upscale mall with two levels and nice, natural light. Store is very well stocked and merchandise is beautifully arranged on shelves and tables. Nice selection of boys and girls clothes. Staff is very friendly and nice. Wonderful all around upscale children's boutique. I have been to an outlet before, but this is my first experience at a regular store.
