Returned the car rental weeks ago and still being charged for it! No one answers the phone in order to sort out the situation! No e-mail on website! They using my credit card as they desire while it is supposed to be covered by the insurance of the other party!

I had such an amazing experience with this location. I never thought I would be impressed with a car rental service but I was. The customer service representative was phenomenal, I believe her name is Madge- she went above and beyond to make everything absolutely seamless for me during my rental process.

If you want peace of mind, Refrain from renting at this Hertz location. I'm a Hertz Goldplus member. This location provided me a car with safety issues saying they don't have an alternate vehicle. When I returned the car after having it for a couple of hours and realizing the safety concerns, they charged me a full day rental price. This is a sheer rip-off of customer pockets without even providing a safe car or reliable service.The final twist for me was.. the location manager was enjoying his Vacation and the staff was helpless though they wanted to cancel the contract. Instead they were suggesting that I return the car at the airport Hertz location and try requesting other Hertz locations to get it cancelled. Hopeless...BTW... I've already provided feedback on the Hertz website but haven't received any response.

Absolutely terrible manager at this location. Not only is he a proven liar, he’s also a little man-child who refuses to identify himself and also avoids fixing any errors HE caused because he probably has balls the size of peanuts and just can’t handle the pressure. I was very polite at first, until he disrespected me. Listen, if you want an awful experience and like to be treated like trash, by all means, go to this location. They will be more than happy to take your reservation, place a hold on your card and then when you arrive to pick up, they will tell you they have no vehicle for you. That’s not the best part! The pending hold on my card was never dropped and they straight up completed the charge and it went from pending to complete on my card statement! Hertz get rid of this staff! It’s going to bring you problems.

Awful, awful experience. After having booked a car from this location, we arrived to find that no cars were available. When we asked them to cancel our reservation, they refused to do so. (Date: 9/11/2023; time of encounter 4:40 PM). When we insisted, politely but insistently, staff became abusive and started cursing, using the "F" word. At this point we asked the person concerned-male, 6 ft-to identify himself, which he refused to do. He instead gave us the card of his manager, Maj Gilmore, who was not present, saying that this was his card. Completely unqualified to hold a sales position; never seen this awful, rude, positively aggressive and offensive behavior anywhere. It's like we were begging them to rent us their cars rather than the other way around.

It's unfortunate that this is the most convenient location, because my last experience was not great and I have another upcoming reservation already booked. I scheduled my reservation for August in February for an 8am pickup on a Thursday morning. When I arrived at 8, I was informed they had no cars available and I would have to wait half an hour, not a huge problem. They did offer me a Tesla, which I was unable to take because of where I was traveling. The Hertz employee had to go to another location to pickup and bring back a car for me. I didn't end up getting my car until about 9:15.I reserved a car averaging 39mpg, but I didn't break more than 22mpg on my 700 mile round trip. The car I was given also smelled like cigarette smoke that had been covered up by an air freshener.Hertz told me on the phone that I could park my car at the hotel while I was gone and pay $7/day for parking. When I was loading my rental car, a hotel worker came out and said I had to pre-pay (this was never mentioned) and that it would be $14/day. I explained to her that she would have to talk to Hertz because they are giving different information. I also added the rental car license plate to my EZ Pass transponder, and when I went to grab the transponder out of my car to put into the rental, they told me I didn't need it because I had already registered it to my account online. I got all the MA charges on my EZ Pass account, but the NY tolls were billed to the rental company and I got stuck with 2 NY charges totaling $4.98 plus a $10/day usage fee, so about $25 for something they told me would be covered. Now I know that when I'm adding a rental car's license plate to my transponder to always have it in the car with me when going over state lines, but it seems that the staff there are misinformed on their coordination with the hotel policies and transponder information. The staff were all pleasant, and the facility is clean and convenient. It just seems to be run very haphazardly to get people in and out.

Positive experience.Nice, clean and upgraded car was available when I arrived. Staff are super friendly, and they go above and beyond to satisfy customers.

Terrible service. Show up on time of my reservation. A clerk made me wait 15 minutes just to tell that the they don't have any cars and they will call me when they have anything available. No apologies just stating the fact.

These people are extremely slow and backed up. Took forever, didn't have my gold number. Hertz needs to get its act together... Update 1 year later, it's gotten worse. They didn't have a car for me after I booked online and they accepted the booking. I showed up and nothing. Worse yet, they actually did have a big SUV but wouldn't honor the rate I had booked and were going to charge me $200/day, way more then requested. The real frustration was the attitude of the desk clerk. She had a chip on her shoulder and was pleased to tell me that they were out of cars and that she wouldn't honor the rate I had booked it at. She didn't apologize at all. So I left. I've rented from this place many times, but no more.

I was directed here by my insurance company after an accident. I was told by Hertz that they would arrange a drop off for me, I was then told by this location that they do not do it. I was happy when they offered to pick me up at a scheduled time to go get my rental. Well that never happened. I called 30 minutes after the scheduled time and they were shocked. They had no record of it, refused to offer any sort of discount or upgrade and told me "we're picking you up, that's the upgrade".This location is rude, unorganized and not professional by any means. They don't pick up the phone, I was hungup on twice.Never again. Keep looking.

who is to blame for atrocious customer service? the employee or the company? impatience and casual disregard bordering on contempt for the customer was on full display yesterday by both employees - I choose to blame Hertz for this culture, suspecting the employees are offered minimal training and simply reflect a corporate culture - wish I had used Enterprise!

I had the worst experience of my life in a rental car. First this location is not nonsmoking. All their cars have been smoked in and whatever they do to clean the vehicle done get ride of it. My first vehicle smelt of women's perfume till I turned on the heat then it blew cigarette smoke smell throughout the car. The next day I exchanged it and the second car was worse to the point my 5 year old said it had the worst smell ever and after being in the car for 5 min was holding her stomach and saying she didn't feel well. Truthfully I'm not sure it was cigarette smoke in the second car. Hertz as a company would not fix this issue because this location is not franchised. This location should never be used by anyone who doesn't smoke. Personal if I owed hertz I would not allow this lo to continue to operate under my companies name it is making the corporation look bad. I will never rent from Hertz in the Boston area because of this experience.
