We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Happy Child - my daughter has been attending full-time for the last two years, and the Center has done wonders in getting her ready for kindergarten academically and emotionally. Mira, Roman, and the rest of the team foster a welcoming environment and clearly care about every kid that spends time at Happy Child. We are so happy we had the opportunity to send our daughter there and recommend Happy Child to anyone who is looking for a welcoming, inclusive environment for their children.

My wife and I can’t say enough about Happy Child. The love and care they showed our children could not be matched. The teachers truly love all of the kids and put everything into their work. This is truly a special place, and thanks to the directors Mirah and Roman incredibly well run. We can not say enough about how much we love Happy Child!

As a parent of two children who have been part of the Happy Child Daycare family for several years, I can confidently say this is more than just a daycare—it's a nurturing second home for our kids. The teachers and administration are exceptional, fostering an environment where learning and growth are paramount.
What sets Happy Child apart is their music and art enriched curriculum, which has sparked a love for creativity in both my children. They ensure plenty of outside time, understanding the importance of fresh air and active play.
One of the true gems of Happy Child is their amazing on-site chef. The meals prepared are not only nutritious but also incredibly delicious—my kids rave about them daily. Knowing they are enjoying wholesome food saves us precious time at home and gives us peace of mind.
I can't thank Happy Child enough for the love and care they've shown my children. They've truly created a supportive community where every child thrives. Highly recommend!

My both sons went to Happy Child. They both loved it and I always felt confident that my kiddos are taken care there in the best way possible. All the staff is just amazing there, every single teacher my sons had was very kind and professional. Apparently, Happy Child has some teachers who have been with them for 20/30+ yrs which says a lot! They use app where all the details get uploaded: what child had for a meal, how long child napped, plus they post pics. They have music classes (twice a week, I believe) and yoga (yoga pics are too cute!), plus some other activities. The fact that it's a full day program where your child is offered 3 meals (breakfast, lunch and snack), plus they have cots for kids for nap time - it's a huge win for working parents!

We've been so happy with the education, care, and love that Happy Child has provided to our child. She has been coming to the Happy Child pre-K program for the past two years, since she was 3. She looks forward to coming in every day and her language and math skills have blossomed since she began here. The curriculum is excellent and keeps our little one busy while ensuring she feels prepared and confident to start Kindergarten next year. We will miss you, Happy Child!

Fantastic experience! Our two boys went to Happy Child - 5 years total. Hard to describe in words how great it feels when you drop off your child and know they are in safe and loving hands - always. In addition to providing educational and social development at/above institutional level, Happy Child really shows the love in everything they do. The 7:45am to 5:30pm daily schedule is great; and they only close for 2 weeks a year. Our boys could not have been better prepared and cared for to advance into kindergarten. Looking back, I cannot imagine what we would have done without Happy Child. Highly recommend you join the family!

Happy Child has been the best thing that happened to me since I moved to MA. We did not know anyone in town and we were very scared to leave our daughter in a new place but Roman and Mira made sure all of our fears would go away! They have shown organization, love, control and professionalism since day one. I’m writing this 3 years after and I can say this daycare is the best in town. A lot of people I’ve met in the years told me their kids went to Happy Child in the past and they still remember how good it was. So this excellence has been persistent over the years. I recommend Happy Child!!

Happy child day care is a very good school, my daughter spent more than two years here and all the teachers are professional and nice to everyone. In my opinion here is the best day care in newton neighborhood.

Our daughter went to Kindergarten at Happy Child and I am very thankful for all the positive experience that Happy Child provided to us. Daily reports and activities really exceeded our expectations. Mira and Roman made our life easier everyday. They love the kids and effectively try to improve the quality of the education for the kids each year!Happy child was like a second home for our daughter and she was always excited for attending the school on Monday mornings!I highly recommend Happy Child to everyone as a high quality daycare that will make any child flourish and be happy!!Jayne is a very thoughtful K teacher who puts a lot of thought into how she presents the material. Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging the students to learn new subjects. I would highly recommend her to anyone interested in learning at happy child.

My son was surrounded by the most supportive, heartwearming teachers and child caretakers ever. They successfully prepared him for his next journey in private school and we were blessed to be around so many amazing families. We will forever be grateful for a happy child!

I moved to Newton 3 weeks ago and I have a 2 year old that has been in the same daycare since she was born. The transition was scary but Roman and Mira, the owner of the school, took off all this stress from my shoulders. My daughter loved the school and the teachers right away and she is very happy despite the complete change.

We chose to make a move with our two boys into programs at Happy Child Daycare and Preschool last year, because we felt that our previous daycare (part of a nation-wide chain) did not provide sufficient attention and stimulating curricula to them. We cannot be happier with this choice! Happy Child is the caring, loving, nurturing, and educationally stimulating environment that every parent dreams of and that we have long been looking for. Our children are immersed in dedicated and loving care and constantly learn, as they play, create, and have a good time. This is an ideal place to foster the social and early educational skills that will be the basis of their future successes in school, public or private. Both of our boys love attending this school (our preschooler often even asks us on weekend days whether we could take him back to school). We have been thrilled to see our preschooler already take several field trips with the class to various fun locations in the Greater Boston area, including the pet farms, parks and recreation centers. Moreover, both our toddler and preschooler receive regular extra-curricular activities, like marshal arts, music and yoga classes, as part of their normal daily schedules, which is an amazing additional enriching component of their experience. To top it off, Happy Child provides nourishing tasty home-prepared hot meals for breakfast and lunch, which means for us, as busy working parents of 3, that that critical obligation is off of our shoulders, and we can rest assured that our boys are eating well, along side their classmates. Our boys' teams of teachers act with such care and devotion to their charge that we have already come to see them close friends and love them as family members. It is such a rare opportunity to find such a wonderful place. We consider ourselves extremely lucky. Our only regret is that we will have to say goodbye to Happy Child when our children reach Kindergarten age and have to go off to a new school.

On behalf of all working parents, I want to express my gratitude to Mira and the staff and teachers at Happy Child. For many, many reasons, but especially because on this day, after a storm that dropped almost 20†of snow and when nearly every school district and daycare in the area is closed a second day, Happy Child opened with a delay of only two hours. We feel so grateful to send our daughter to a place where she can grow and thrive, and where we can go to work knowing that she is so well cared for. Thank you!!!

Our daughter went to Happy Child and I could not imagine a more positive experience than Happy Child provided to us. Everything, starting with teachers, Mira, daily reports and activities really exceeded our expectations. Most important though, we could see our daughter growing up and flourishing in the environment that Happy Child has provided!! Our two boys have been at Happy Child since they were 12 weeks old. Our oldest is now in the Pre-K room. The teachers and staff are so caring and loving towards all the children. We have been very happy with each classroom throughout the different stages and are always so impressed with the curriculum and activities they do each day. We can't recommend Happy Child enough.
