I am 21 years old, came in looking for 3 bottles of wine and was turned away because I came in with someone else who was not 21. As far as I know that is not how US law works. The woman working acted very stuck up and unfriendly. I do not recommend this store and would definitely recommend one of the many other liquor stores in newton. Marty’s is probably the best and 2 minutes away.

Poor selection. If you want anything besides Coors or the like, it’s not refrigerated.Denied my husband’s ID saying there was “no way” that it was real but wouldn’t give us a reason as to why she was so sure it was fake. (Wasn’t sure enough to confiscate it though.)Only went here because the location was convenient, but I’ll take the slightly inconvenient location of a better business over being told a thirty-year-old’s ID is “definitely fake” after they looked at with a flashlight.
