The coin star here is in star market located towards the left side of the entrance. And accessed from there as well. The star market is clean. Subsequently so is the machine. It takes a small fee. But other than that. It’s better than counting hundreds of change

Once a great market, but poor management and spoiled employees destroyed it. Worse, the parent company turned a blind eye to the travesty it became. Children loading bags like they were playing basketball, loading heavy items on top of fragile ones. Had to stop going here, even giving up a few items I can't easily get at other locations.

This store does not sell items at the advertised price (specials often do not show at the register). The management is aware and the problem persists. Is it deliberate? The deli department is a prime example. chicken is never as displayed. Last evening, I was charged $12.72 for 5 dried up wings and some vegetables.

Shelves not stocked and in disarray. Sold out of Hellman's mayonnaise, seriously?! Abandoned carts blocking the aisle. Unmanned registers, long waiting lines at slow time of day. Customer service desk had disregard for customer. Never going back to this Star location. Poorly managed.

Cashiers and baggers are rude in this store. They never greet customers, and when I say "thank you!" for bagging the grocery, they respond with saying "no problem!" They definitely need training on how to be nice to customers.

This Business Is Excellent! The People there are very Nice and helpful! There are plenty of choices and variety. There always seems to be a new deal on something every time I walk into the store.

This place has the single most extensive frozen pizza selection i have ever seen. Worth a look! They also have dope carry out bags-- very sturdy.

When you purchase berries turn them upside down to be sure they are not bruised and moldy. This happens a lot. Also, many time the avocadoes are on sale and they are pretty close to being rotten. .This is the Star Market on Lexington St I in Waltham. I would also suggest they put the refridgerator temp down a few degrees so milk doesn't spoil so frequently. (have heard this from many people). Just because they changed the produce department around doesn't mean the quality is any better. There is no excuse, they are not cheap so if I pay for something I want it to be fresh.

Very poorly managed market. Maybe the worst of all the local Star markets. Small. Often out of product. Just an overall unappealing place. Emergency only type market.

The website describes this small shopping plaza as transit-oriented and I can understand that as it is well served by road (the Mass Pike goes right by) and rail (Auburndale commuter rail is nearby). Commonwealth Ave also has excellent bus service. The shopping center is anchored by a large format Star Market but also has one full bank branch, one smaller ATM-only bank branch, a bagel shop, a cleaner and a hair salon. There's plenty of parking. When I was here, the lot was well maintained with no litter visible. There is one entrance and one exit for Commonwealth Ave. It does not have a turn lane for those crossing traffic.

They remodeled this store. And it seems like every decision was made to make customers want to shop elsewhere. The produce section is small and anemic. Literally two heads of celery today. Understaffed deli that seems to unabashedly push Boarshead. Seafood and deli share the same case. The exit doors open wide six feet from the cash registers so cold air blasts in on the poor cashier's. Pathetic grocery variety compared to Stop & Shop and Market Basket. And prices are notably higher. I live close and only go there for urgent needs. If you have a choice, go anywhere else you can.
