Pretty small location sharing parking with a med spa business. Good service. Can get quite on Saturdays.

Been going to this branch for a while. Don't get wrapped into financial planning though too fast. It's a waste of time and I only wanted to open a simple CD. Listen to what the customer is saying and stop pressuring people to share facets of their life that they shouldn't divulge to a CPA. Everything else is stellar.

Citizens Bank at 165 Needham, Newton was totally unprofessional bank I ever visited. Two associates did not know what they were doing and did not bother to find out how to do it but were condescening, arrogant, snappy, cranky, irritable and rude. It seemed there was no limit in how far they deviate from expected professional manner. During my visit around 315 PM, there was no other customer and two associates were idlely chatting. I asked the guy to find out why the address change was not made accordingly despite the letter acknowledging address change. Instead of finding out if account address was updated in the system as I asked, he insisted that the letter says the address is updated, the address is apparantly updated and there was no need to check it at all. Instread of checking it out, he pointed and read the letter three times to me. He must think that his job is to repeatedly reading letters from the Citizens Bank to customers whose intelligence is not his match to understand a letter. In fact he was the one who was totally lost, irrogical and stubborn to understand that I was asking to straighten the discrepancy in the letter and letter still being sent to old address. I told him that there was no reason for him to repeatedly pointing the line in the letter that I fully comprehend. I asked him to check if account address has been updated on the system since as of September 16, 2022, two months later, I am still getting letter to the old address. Only after asking 4 times, he reluctantly told to the female associate to check out. She was no better than him. She demanded the letter from the bank again which the male associate read three times already. So I went through multiple envelopes with address changes from several banks to find the letter from the Citizens. However, she yelled irritably " give me any". So I handed over one from Eastern Bank. Then she sayes " it is not Citizen's". I told her that i was looking for the Citizen's but she asked for "ANY". It was not so difficult for her to figure that I would not have multiple letters from the Citizen's. She found that the address on the system was not updated. They did not know why and would not pursue what was next step to figure it out. Neither of them was apologetic or knew what they were doing. I asked the guy for his name. He refused and he started rambling nonsense and lying to the customer who just walked in that he was trying to help me but i was being rude. I asked for his name again. But instead he handed over the business card of the branch manager. I NEVER experienced this sort of absolutely absurd behavior of incompetence combined arrogance at other banks. TD banks, Rockland Trust, Cambridge Trust, Bank of America and Eastern Bank treat customer with utmost respect and courtesy and get work done professionally in timely manner. Stay away from Citizens bank and this branch.

The new manager (Liana Amirkhanyan) is wonderful and everyone is generally friendly, professional and efficient at this branch.

Great location. It's a large and well lit building with a spacious parking lot. They have two entrances, an after hours drop, and an ATM.

I had told them over the phone that travel is expensive for me and to check and verify the details before I come down there but they didnt do their due dilligence :/

This bank is the worst. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. This location and branch are shady as hell. Payment transfers are always late, and completely negative banking experience. Do not trust this bank with your money

Stayed away from this branch for a couple of years because of poor service. Stopped in today to give it another try, and I am sad to report there has been no change. The competition is getting better delivering great service while Citizens in general, and this branch in particular, fall behind. I have been a Citizens customer for over 25 years, so this really saddens me. I don't enjoy writing bad reviews. I just hope this will help jump-start quality service for the customer.

I happened to need to call this branch -- my branch -- and looking for the number ran across the older bad reviews. A lot has changed for the better over the past several years, and this 4-Corners branch has made it a top priority to attend to every customer as if they are VIPs. I have three accounts at the bank, so have needed an array of services. I am extremely pleased with the quality of service and level of knowledge of the various staff. My family has been with the bank for over 10 years and we have been very happy with the evolution.

Very convenient location for me. The tellers have always been very friendly and easy to joke with. Sometimes my day is very tense, rushed, and all I want to do is scream but, when I have to converse with persons as in this situation I need to joke around to ease that stress. The tellers here are so wonderful like that. They have always been very quick to answer any and all my questions with a very friendly smile. I never once felt I was intruding on their texting time like you find in some department stores. The bank itself has never been crowded when I go there. It is always clean and inviting. Just what you would expect from a neighborhood bank!

I called to report an ATM was left on the machine, and the rep was laughing & being rued. I know it isn't the specific bank, but wanted to let you know that this is another reason I'm not the bank!

Last monday i sold my car and the purchaser gave me a cashier's check that she'd made to herself initially. both of us walked up to the teller and asked what we needed to do to sign it over to me. the teller looked confused. "who has a bank account here?" i do. that is why we are here. he still didn't get it so he asked his supervisor to come over and talk to us. i explained it to her. she was confused and after both my purchaser and i reexplained it 3 times she was finally like "oh okay do this..." we did that. i had been told there was a way for them to call and secure the funds in 15 minutes, to get everything approved while we were there. this woman said no they didn't need to do that because this was a cashier's check and it was as good as cash. this will sound unfair but neither of them spoke english well so i was a little hesitant. they stopped dealing with me though, so there was nothing else for me to do. clearly my concerns were right. three days later i log on my account to find out the check was denied and is being returned to me because we signed it over wrong. this is a BIG FREAKING DEAL. I have now GIVEN AWAY my car and have NO money for it because of these two bumbling assholes. should this be standard knowledge for bank employees? YES. today when i called and asked to speak to the manager of the branch, well he was "too busy" and may or may not call me back. that's customer service. Don't go into this branch unless you have sufficient time and energy to clean up their slopshod work. There are literally dozens of other branches in Newton/Brighton/Brookline, so avoid this place. if i could give no stars i definitely definitely would.
