I wanted to send a gorgeous bouquet of roses to my terminally ill aunt. She said there was one clump of roses and one clump of hydrangeas- not even separated. Super disappointed but understand things happen.

This is my first time ordering from Busy Bee Flowers. I called on Wednesday asking for a Friday pick up and specifically requested a cat friendly bouquet. The person on the phone was understanding and said she knows what to do because she also has a cat. When my partner picked up the bouquet, it was not ready and the person made it on the spot (not the same person who answered the phone).
The bouquet itself is beautiful but it has lilies which is not cat friendly. So I called to see what happened. The person picked up the phone was aggressive, told me she wasn’t informed and I should throw away the lilies or put them in a different room, told me she had a cat but her cat never ate any flowers. She said she had a long day and it’s 4 o’clock.
I asked if I can speak to the manager or the lady who I spoke on the phone with. She said I can come back and she will redo the bouquet. But after she already complaining about her long day, i feel like it wasn’t gonna be a good encounter. And frankly, i didn’t want to really face her after the way she spoke on the phone.
I get it that miscommunication happens. But she never apologized. Shopping at a local business, I was hoping for a better costumer experience, sadly it didn’t happen here.

I had never used Busy Bee Florist when sending flowers to someone. I chose a small business rather than 1-800-flowers or any other big business.
After speaking with the proprietor on the phone, I requested that the arrangement shown be delivered in the early afternoon on a particular date. (I did request that five tulips be purple and five yellow.) The total including delivery was $92 and change. This was far more than I wanted to spend, but I figured it would be a nice birthday surprise, so I bit the bullet.
The flowers were delivered in the morning, rather than at the time of day I requested, and the recipient sent me a picture of the flowers. I was dismayed to see the wilted tulips. The arrangement was neither uplifting nor tastefully designed.
I wrote to the shop, expressing my dissatisfaction, and asked if they would issue a partial refund. They would not. They wrote that nature “is imperfect.”
She did offer to have someone return to the recipient’s address, take back the flowers, and deliver others.
I declined this solution because the shop and the destination were in two different towns, the surprise of the flowers was already tainted, and it would not have made sense ecologically to make an unnecessary trip in a vehicle.

It was a pleasure working with Busy Bee Florist for the first time over this past holiday season. The owner Heidi and her assistant Caroline were both lovely to work with and helpful. Busy Bee Florist was filled with all sorts of colorful flowers in preparation for the upcoming holiday & felt like an inviting, welcoming place to visit.
Heidi is very knowledgeable about plants and flowers, and after talking with me to have an understanding of what I was looking for, she put two floral arrangements together for our home on two separate occasions over this past month. What she created were beautiful arrangements that reflected the holiday season as well as our winter season. They are placed in a central part of our great room so that my family, our guests, and I have thoroughly enjoyed them! Thank you, Busy Bee!

When the original arrangement sent yesterday seemed a bit sparce, Heidi offered to send more flowers. They arrived today and my niece added them to her original bouquet, resulting in a beautiful, full arrangement. We are grateful for the wonderful service and consider Busy Bee our go-to florist; thank you very much, Heidi!
