Never felt so disrespected before in my life. I, a black male was contracted to promote a liquor during their annual Country Western Celebration. I arrived and received lots of stares. From staff and guests. Then manager Adam tells me “We were expecting girls to sample, this isn’t the vibe we’re going for, no disrespect, but you could leave.” Did I mention that there was not one person in the entire club that looked like me. The Adam goes on to say, “but leave your cups, so we can sample with them”.I will never return to this establishment… I’m not going where I’m not wanted. It’s 2022 smh.

Jason (the manager) couldn’t have been any more accommodating, caring and helpful after I had a medical mishap last evening.He had all hands on deck to make sure I was alright.Thank you!!Patty

The only reason I am not giving Brae Burn Country Club in Newton Massachusetts five out of five stars is because of the pace of play in the summer months. Even though the course is in pristine condition, it does get very backed up and rounds can take a while. On a positive note, everything else is amazing about this place. The food is fantastic, the club house is scenic and beautiful, and the service is always friendly and well organized. The people at this club know the right kind of personal to hire, and the right kind of members to take in because every time I am here with my family friends and other friends who are members, I always have a wonderful experience. Brae Burn also has the perfect mix of golf, and social events, which is perfect for a country club. Not to mention a beautiful pool and tennis facility not far from the clubhouse. Also with indoor simulators for the winter months! Would definitely recommend if you live in the Newton area if your looking to join a country club. There's something for everybody!

Only one vegetarian option on the entire food menu - a $22 cauliflower steak that I can not recommend. If this place wants to be a "fine dining" establishment they need to expand their menu.
