In my book, Jacob is the best or at least one of only few great piano tuners that I have known throughout my life as a concert pianist. For many years, Jacob have been maintaining my practice pianos and on occasion during my recitals as well. I would strongly recommend Jacob, and only him, to anyone owning an acoustic piano.

I had great experience with Jacob.I have Baldwin console which was neglected through Covid .Jacob was very prompt, honest, professional.He clearly explained the condition of my piano and the work needed to get it back in shape.His pricing was very reasonable.He was very friendly and easy to deal with.Highly recommended!

We were holding off from getting our Yamaha U1 upright tuned since the start of the pandemic. At some point it became totally unplayable and we decided to do it.We shopped around and were stunned with the rates compare to what we have been used to from before Covid-19.Luckily we contacted Jacob. His rates were still quite reasonable.Jacob did a great job and our piano sounds beautiful again. Jacob was very professional and accommodating.What was especially important to us is that he followed all the necessary Covid precautions: he wore a mask and kept social distancing.Great experience.Definitely highly recommended!

Positive experience with Jacob. He tuned our old upright when we were living in Nonantum that we had bought second hand. He made it sound good which was pretty amazing given how old it was. When we were ready to get something newer we asked him for advice and he spent a lot of effort giving us guidance and his opinion. We ended up with one of the upright Yamaha models and still using Jacob for the tuning. I feel like he really cares about his work.

We own an old Knabe upright which have been neglected for years.After considerable process of shopping around we used Jacob’s services in order to bring it back to life.Jacob has done an excellent job not only in tuning our piano but also in fixing several mechanical issues . Our old piano sounds so beautiful now.Jacob is very professional, honest, his prices are very reasonable.We are very sensitive as far as Covid safety.Jacob wears a mask, keeps social distancing.He even disinfected the keyboard after finishing his work.We highly recommend his services.

I am very happy and satisfied with how Jacob tuned and saved my old YAMAHA upright piano . I have bought the used piano from 90s. It was not tuned for many years until I got it. So the condition was bad to begin with. But with Jacob’s professional and experienced skills, he turned it successfully and it sounds so beautiful now! I highly recommend him.

Jacob tunes our Steinway M to perfection each time. He is extremely thorough and very knowledgeable. We are always pleased with his work as well as his knowledge of pianos and what they need; Jacob offers sage advice that allows you to care for your instrument. I highly recommend him.

Jacob has been tuning our Baldwin upright for years with great results! Since he's been maintaining it we've been able to get impressive sound, clarity, and reliability from what would otherwise be a pretty limited piano (we got it for free from a friend). He has also helped with information on maintaining the piano in our temperamental New England climate and advice on what to look for in our next piano (when we decide to upgrade). Highly recommended!

Jacob has taken great care of our 1923 Steinway 6 foot grand since we moved to Boston 5 years ago. He did some very effective restoration work after the move and the piano is sounding better than ever. We have been very happy with his service and unhesitatingly recommend him.

Jacob has been tuning my 2006 Steinway B for the past couple of years, and I'm very happy with his work. The piano sounds great and holds its tune exceptionally well for months after he tunes it. He's very meticulous and takes his time and charges a fair price.

I have owned a piano for most of my life and have utilized the services of several piano tuners. However, Jacob is, by far, the best.
