This is a money hungry operation. To quote the owners email to me "we are in business to make money". Which is fine but they miss the mark on the customer service and human element of running a business. They have a take it or leave it attitude. Follow through takes forever. I literally had to text and email multiple times in order to get any kind of response. I felt my request for a 5.1 system was treated like a low priority. They also try to oversell you on stuff. Thank goodness I didn't move forward with them! Just a horrible experience!

This is a versatile audio shop that is current on cutting edge tech for consumers of video/audio and audiophiles alike. They know their stuff and stand by their products.I bought a great pair of KEF speakers there. There was a factory defect out of the box and they replaced it no questions asked and provided a loaner pair to boot. Nice guys who know their products and love quality.

Friendliness abounds at AudioDave, a rare commodity in a "Hi End" audio store. There is no snobery here. In fact, each of the staff that I met was not only friendly but knowledgeable. I was given a warm welcome and a tour of the store. On a second visit, when I met owner David Nakayama, I was permitted an off-schedule audition. I came equipped with my test recording, the spacious CHANDOS digital CD recording of the Vaughan-Williams 5th Symphony conducted by Brydon Thomson. the Focal Speakers were A-B 'd against NAD electronics and two different KRELL amps (Stereo and Monoblock).The effect was magical. It is a great listening room. The speakers are in the room, apart from reflective surfaces, and the listening chairs properly situated. The final results were breathtaking. Front to back depth was realistic. The sound-stage also was convincing. Seldom in my 40 years of visiting audio store have I been so impressed at the store. The sound was warm, not electronic sounding and inviting. This was achieved without tweaking with better wire. I usually have to wait to setup equipment properly at home. They do things right from the start.This is one of the best listening rooms in the city. It is worth a visit, moreover worth a listen!
