“Bernie & Phyl's is THE BEST furniture store in the area by a mile. The consultants are knowledgeable, patient, and helpful without being pushy whatsoever. “The best! Prices are somewhat competitive; you get what you pay for. Made in MA with quality parts. Great sales people (not gimmicky and pushy and no sales tax with nh delivery). Bought a mattress in the Salem store 10+ years ago. After multiple moves it still feels and looks like new. Significantly better longevity and real world comfort than my past mid grade (over $1,000 in the 90s and early 2000s) mattresses purchased from Jordan's. I highly recommend!”

It sounds from some earlier reviews like they had a bit of a rough patch logistically, but I'm happy to report that they just delivered my new sofabed ahead of schedule -- they quoted three months, and it was in my living room in just 68 days.The couch itself is wonderful, in large part because it's *not* a couch, or a futon, or a bed. It's shaped like a couch, convertible like a futon, and sturdily constructed like a bed.Khat is, as always, a delight to work with, and even arranged us an especially convenient delivery time outside normal business hours.”
