Parking: The store is directly off the street so there are probably four or five spots for the location itself although it is any shared complex. (shared with village Bank and a cleaner or seamstress)”

Because it's a convenience store, household items are a tad overpriced, so you'll want to go up the road to CVS or down the road to Star Market unless you're in a hurry. They're open late and on all holidays, I believe. The guys at the counter are all super nice, and will remember you if you're a semi-regular, which I appreciate.”
“They have an amazing selection for a small convenience store: it's more like a gourmet store. I think they keep an inventory of items their food-savvy customers like to have. For me, Organic Stonyfield Yogurt, a good selection of fruits and vegetables at reasonable prices. Plus a good selection of herbal teas, breads, crackers, etc. They also carry newspapers. I think the owners really know what they're doing. Basically, anything I need on short notice, they have. They are always busy with people buying homemade sandwiches. And they have a good selection of high-end ice cream and treats. The people working there, including the owner, are very pleasant.”

They pile on the meat and you get to pick your toppings. “May 2023:4: I could recommend this location. I stopped by this location as a result of needing a few things before I continued on my way. I grabbed a few scratch tickets, a couple of drinks, and some snack food items. The store was fairly clean and orderly upon my arrival. It was a location adjacent to a main street that was easily accessed from two different roads. There was no visible handicap parking in front, but plenty of parking spaces available. The cashier was competent and friendly.”

It sells every kind if item, paralleling the thesis of giant supermarkets. There are at least siz different variants of every sort of item, from boxed cerials to chocolate syrups.This store has it's own deli, offering thin-sliced Boar's Head meats and cheeses. The deli makes customized subs and sandwhiches of every imaginable permutation, adorned to order. Workers nearby literslly flock to this place to satisfy their lunchtime cravings.This store especially caters to the tastes of Hispanics, in their baked goods , their specialty cheeses, and canned hot peppers in a hundred varieties.Just as Allston is the cultural epicenter of the human race, and Allston Village is the epicenter of Allston, so is Night Star Market & Deli the epicenter of Allston Village. Over time, this tiny store gets patronized by thousands, especially tourists. Yet it is very rarely crowded.I want to recommend their deli roast beef. That stuff is otherworldly good, and they shave it razor thin for you. Utterly delectable.”
