New England Grooming Salon
50 Pleasant St, NewburyportI highly recommend New England Grooming Salon! Jen and Shelley are amazing. We recently moved to Newburyport and have a 13yo pup who is very anxious and sometimes cranky. He was so calm during the nail trim and he was so well cared for! I am so grateful to you. Thank you for taking such good care of DaVinci. I can tell he loved meeting you both and we will see you soon!

Port Vida a Mexican Cantina
10 Center St, NewburyportWe chose Port Vida Restaurant for our family get-together lunch, and it was the best choice we could have made. We were greeted by a gracious hostess and brought upstairs to a beautiful arrangement of tables similar to a round. Large windows gave us a bright setting and a great view of downtown Newburyport. Started with delicious tortilla chips, served warm with an assortment of salsas. The burrito was excellent, large and flavorful, with plenty of carnitas. Other choices included Poblano Chicken, also very good. Service was on point, further enhancing our experience. Can't go wrong if you stop at Port Vida.

RiverWalk Brewing Co.
40 Parker St, NewburyportCame for the beers, but really enjoyed the walk out from downtown and the nachos with chicken.
I had the Hit of the Haze, a very tasty NEIPA. Solid beers, very drinkable. My wife had the pumpkin seasonal with the cinnamon rim, and it was terrific.
The nachos were intended to be an app,but the full sheet was filling and quite tasty. With the added chicken, we were both full and after our drinks, we were ready for a lovely
walk back into the town.
The Patriots were on a very large TV, the atmosphere was quite fun, and there were two different parties happening during our stay. Kudos to the great spot

Chococoa Baking Co. & Cafe
The Tannery - Mill #1, 50 Water St, NewburyportI love Chococoa's coffee and pastries, but I wanted to take a chance to highlight their whoopie pies. My husband and I had them as favors at our post-wedding brunch (at Allagash in Portland, Maine). Ordering and pick-up was so easy and they coordinated the ribbon color, and gave us signs for the display. Everyone raved about them at the brunch (notable as we also had Bite Into Maine, Tandem Bakery, and Rose Foods (if you know Portland, this is big)). Our gluten free guests especially, raved about how moist they were and scrambled to take the extras home with them!
