I’ve been coming here since childhood and hope this place stays around for a long time. I don’t live locally anymore but when I’m in the area I always make a point to stop for a breakfast sandwich, or pickup some homemade frozen chicken pot pies for later, or a pint of jeni’s to fill my nostalgic heart. The staff is friendly and the space is very nice. We’ve been in a few times but this was our first time ordering food. It was very disappointing. The prices are very high (almost $60 for two sandwiches, seltzers, and small bags of chips, plus tip). We waited 25 minutes for the sandwiches and they were pathetic. Spending $4.50 for chicken and having it on only 1/3 of the sandwich is misleading at best. We expected high quality ingredients but to our sandwiches both had what looked like romaine lettuce, sliced white bread, and cheap pickles (green like they’ve been chemically pickled)). And I’m not sure where the tomato went but it wasn’t on my sandwich. We won’t be giving the food another shot and neither should you.To the owner who is disappointed that we didn’t address the sandwich concerns directly, you can imagine that after waiting so long for food on a not so busy day, we were disinterested in waiting even longer to have it corrected. Facts have been spoken, compliments given where due, and we made no exaggerations. Better reviews come with a better product.

This place is cute and the food is good but it’s too bad that the kitchen doesn’t just stay open until closing. I know several people who have driven here just for the food since the place is open til 4 and got turned away because the kitchen closes an hour early.

Food is great but terrible customer service with unfriendly looks. As a paying customer, the simplest way to treat a customer, is nice smile and hello.

With the nice setting in such a nice town I expected more from my first few eating experiences at Joppa. Unfortunately it was super expensive, over $30 for my lunch of a sandwich drink and chips, and really not good quality. It took a very long time to get my sandwich both times and I was let down with the bread and the toppings. Also the second time I paid to add turkey and they gave me a very tiny amount, maybe one slice or so. For the $3 up charge that seems wrong. I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt but having read other reviews on google and seeing some snarky responses from the owner, I think I've learned my lesson to avoid them.

Great menu and delicious sandwiches. Parking lot nearby and some outdoor and indoor seating. The food is all made fresh to order, which is amazing quality, but makes for a very slow wait. The falafel wrap, bahn mi, tuna wrap, and fried chicken sandwich were all delicious. They also sell some really delicious kettle potato chips, yummy unique drinks, and even cara cara oranges!

First time here and will make this a regular stop in the future. We had the Italian sandwich and falafel wrap. Both were fresh, warm and delicious. Love the small, but well-curated selection of cheese, wine and misc. prepared foods. Staff was very friendly.

Sandwich was lovely. Should not need to wait 20-30 minutes for it to be made, especially when it was not busy. Need to have two lines - one set of employees focusing on customers waiting and the other for online orders.

I really want to like this place and have given it 3 chances before posting a review. In fact, I rarely post negative reviews because I respect and value our food service providers. Joppa Fine Foods is a disappointment every time. The staff is consistently rude. The food is mediocre, at best, and the prices are outrageous compared to the quality. Sorry Joppa Fine Foods, 3 strikes....you're out. A MUCH better option is Middle Street Food. The BEST service, sandwiches, and quality in town!!

Menu is nice, store is lovely but pretty expensive. I don't know if they can't afford to pay for more workers or just can't find them, but it takes a long while to get food. Def should order in advance. Also then you don't have to deal with the sourpuss at the register.

Had the BEST sandwich here (“The Tasty”)! Iced latte with vanilla, honey, and cinnamon was delicious too.
