Running store in Newburyport. Employees will help you find the right shoe for your running goals. The store also has clothes, socks, jackets, and all manner of accessories for avid runners. If running is not your thing then maybe go elsewhere.

You know I’ve read that the service was not good here. I couldn’t disagree more. My wife, two sons and I have been shopping here for years and now the marathon sports team are taking care of us with the utmost professionalism. They always measure our feet and analyze our walking to put us in the best shoe possible. We have always been happy with their advice and love the products.

Smaller than some of the other marathon sports but glad that one was out here. Parking was easy to find and staff (just one was working that morning) was friendly with everyone he interacted with. Great place to ask questions, figure out shoes to wear/run with. We were able to get a few recommendations across different brands based on what currently worked for us. Also good for finding walking/travel shoes.

Great shop with even better people! Mark ran back and forth to help us try on a ton of different shoes and never made us feel rushed. Nick was also super helpful with recommending the right shoes for our running and step style. We’ll definitely be back for our next pairs!

Not just for runners! I’m an avid walker with middle age fussy feet and toes that have continually spread since childbirth (thanks kids!). I dislike wearing sneakers, but they’re a necessity. I’ve always been intimidated going into running stores since I don’t run, which I know is just silly. I developed IT band syndrome and am sick to no end of Ill-fitting sneakers so I popped in this morning. The nice man used the shoe fitting technology (thingie you stand on and accompanying iPad software) and his expertise to help me. The first pair I tried on felt great. We went up a half size, added fancy insoles and voilà, sneakers that felt as good as a pair of sneakers could possibly feel.

Very knowledgeable staff, good selection. If you want to stop just guessing what shoes to get online then this is the place to go. My feet don't hurt anymore while running on my treadmill
